When it comes to best film then no surprises for guessing it is Aamir Khan at the top..I wish PK would have won in 2014.. Queen was undoubtedly the best film of that year for me until PK arrived.Anyways,this is an excellent article.Slightly disappointed as there is no SRK film since 11 years..lets hope it all changes in 2016.
This just shows how misogynist and sexist we Indians and the team at Indicine are, and how taken for granted we take that for.
– Jodha Akbar as its name suggests is equally Jodha’s (Aishwarya Rai’s) film as it was Akbar’s (Hrithik Roshan’s)
– Same with Bajirao Mastani and Deepika
– Taare Zameen Par is a directorial achievement for Aamir nonetheless but as an actor’s film, it rests on the shoulders of the young Darsheel Safary.
– Kuch Kuch Hota Hai would be nothing without Kajol who is the equal female lead and emotional centre of the film.
– Black too has Rani Mukherjee at its centre.

So in this list also Amir, SRK, Salman and Hrithik occupy the top positions. It also confirms that there is indeed a correlation between doing fine films and the box office worth of the actor.
These 4 actors have delivered awesome movies and are also in the top 4 positions box office wise.
The 3 Khans particularly deserve special praise as they have done it for a long 25 years. Incredibly fascinating.

And I know it’s not necessary that movie which is HGOTY also get the Best Film award. But even in your deep down heart you also know that Bajrangi Bhaijaan is much better film than Bajirao Mastani in all terms and should win Best Film Award….that’s what I want to say….
