Bollywood’s global icon Aamir Khan is as humble as a man can be, even after his most recent release ‘Dangal’ is on its way to becoming the first Indian film to earn Rs 2,000 crore globally.
The actor has millions of fans on social media websites like Facebook and Twitter. He also became the most followed Indian on Chinese website Weibo. But while most celebrities are extremely active on social media websites, Aamir doesn’t often communicate with his fans.
The reason, Aamir says, is because his entire focus right now is on ‘Thugs Of Hindostan’.
“The fact is I am not the kind of person who is active on social media. I don’t think that will change. Once in a while, I go online and say something”
“Right now I am in Malta for ‘Thugs of Hindostan’. My entire focus is on the film. It’s difficult to come out of that. I also believe that my major communication with fans in India or anywhere else is through my work. That’s how I communicate with my audiences.”
“I just feel that’s the kind of person I am. Social media is a wonderful platform to connect with people. It’s a great platform. But each one of us has a different personality. I am not a very communicative person in that sense. So, I’ve never been active on social media, and I don’t think it will change” Aamir said.
‘Thugs Of Hindostan’ releases in theatres during Diwali next year. The film goes on floors in the first week of next month.

Since Pirates new movie is just released, let us compare with what the earlier release did with our own Dangal.
Pirates – 2624 crores budget, 6720 crores collections (worldwide)
profit = 4096 crores
return on investment = 2.5 times
Dangal – 70 crores budget, 1700 crores collections (worldwide)
profit = 1630 crores
return on investment = 24 times
Now, English movies releases almost in every country around the world, while Hindi movies releases on a handful of countries. Considering that hollywod collections are peanut to what Indian movies are doing as far as return on investment is concerned.
Hollywood is good, but Bollywood and Indian movie industry is Awesome.
Since English movies runs in every other country in the world, people are ready to finance, as the return on investment is guaranteed…….other than that there nothing damn special about Hollywood.
Give Indian movie that kind of budget, and they would create 10 times better movie with content and graphics.
There is nothing wrong in getting excited about hollywood, but the above comparision clearly shows that the financers of Indian movies like Dangal laugh all the way to the bank more heartily than those suit wearing hollywoodians.

And in Mangal, megastar of lilliput is a supporting actor and hence, it’s not even his film just like Superstar Akki in OMG. Besides, it’s a female centric film.

The biggest achievement of Dangal is that it burnt the asses of most of Canadian actor Kumar fans. The irony is that Canadian kumar film is not even collect 5cr in his native country. For the Aamir fans following is lesser than canadian kumar. Just imagine fan following of that star whose haters count is more than Canadian Kumar total fans.
