Director Mohit Suri wanted to capture a sandstorm shot for his forthcoming film “Hamari Adhuri Kahani” and use it as a metaphor for the impending problems brewing between the romance of Emraan Hashmi and Vidya Balan’s characters in the film.
According to a source, “Suri, who was shooting in the UAE, had a very small window to shoot this sequence before the sandstorm lashed on. However, on the given day the calculations went all haywire as the weather became extreme and Mohit was advised not to shoot”.
But the actors were more than willing to extend their help.
“Emraan and Vidya stepped up and told the director that they don’t mind trying to get the shot before the sandstorm trapped them. And when Mohit said ‘Action’, the scene was taken in just one shot,” the source added.
The film also features Rajkummar Rao in a pivotal role. Presented by Fox Star Studios and produced by Vishesh Films, “Hamari Adhuri Kahani” releases on June 12.

In this movie emraan hasmi playing a greedy businessman.. He earn money by some illegal ways..
He cheat rajkumar rao and puts him in jail.. Rajkumar rao suffering prison for no reason…
Then emraaan hashmi realise that his wife is going thru bad time with his children n she is doing some maid jobs in hotels… So he help her..
And they fall in love..
But rajkumar rao return from prison finding them in love…
Will he kill vidya??… Will he kill emraan…??… Or what will happen .. True love betn emran vidya win.. Or rajkumar rao wins and tortures his wife again???
This might not be true… But it is definitely not candy floss movie..
Rajkumar rao looking like a beggar with over-grown hair when he return from prison…

Emraan is a good actor but in the last 2 years he has been part of bad movies . I hope HAK is a success which will be a turning point in Emraan’s career . As for Vidya according to me she is the Best actress in Bollywood . She also has been part of movies like Bobby Jasoos, Shaadi ke Side Effects and Ghanchakkar . But everybody makes mistakes . Also Rajkumar is a brilliant actor and he is the highlight of the film according to Mohit Suri . Nowadays Bollywood producers and directors are preferring UAE . The recent examples of movies being shot in UAE are Bang Bang, HNY and Baby . I hope this time i am not disappointed as i was with Aashiqui 2 and Ek Villain . I hope Mohit Suri can deliver a solid movie . Both of the movies mentioned by me were successful but i did not liked them .
EMRAAN`s 1st 100cr film has finally arrived. This one is gonna be a game-changer for Emmi.
This will take him ahead of Ranbir, Arjun, Varun etc.
Still dont see the fascination around this movie- looks a dated project destined to flop but may recover costs so average at best…!
