Emraan Hashmi’s Ek Thi Daayan has dropped by 15-20% on Saturday, as the supernatural thriller collected Rs 5 crore (approx) on Day 2 at the domestic box office.
The film failed to take a good start at mass-centres (Hashmi strong-hold) on it’s opening day and Saturday was much the same. From the trailers, it was pretty evident that Ek Thi Daayan had little or no appeal towards Emraan’s core fan-base, as the film neither had sexual content or chartbuster music.
The two day total is around 10.75 crores. The film has opened well on Sunday, the morning and noon shows had better occupancy than the previous two days. The film is heading towards weekend collections of Rs 17 crores net.

thats what the film doesn’t have sexual content nor charbuster music , thats why its opening is poor , emraan hashmi is nothing without music and sexual scenes
