After a historic first day at the box office, all eyes were on second day collections of Ek Tha Tiger. Since a drop was pretty much expected, as Thursday was a working day – the big question was – by how much?
Well, the collections have dropped by around 50%, which is similar to Agneepath. The morning shows were down by 55-60%, but the night shows recorded better collections.
The all-India early estimate for the second day is around 15 crores nett. Friday collections are expected to be similar, as it’s a working day once again.
The three crucial days will be Saturday – Sunday – Monday. If the film picks up slightly on Saturday and then manages to put up big numbers on the following two days (both holidays), Ek Tha Tiger could get close or even beat the lifetime business of films like Agneepath, Rowdy Rathore, Housefull 2, in the first 6 days itself!

For those Telugu guys thinking Dileep is a great actor seeing his comedy films, Dileep do not have a single national award. Mohanlal have two, Mammooty have three, Suresh Gopi have one best actor award each and Jayaram have one Padmashree.
The comedy films of Dileep are successful. Akshay Kumar have proved himself in various genres including action, romance and comedy. Eg:Khiladi series,Heyy Baby,Hera Pheri,Garam Masala, Namastey London
Akshay Kumar did Bhool Bhulaiyya with perfection. One last question to Telugu,Tamil or malayalam people, will Dileep, Ravi Teja or Vijay can jump from running helicopter into parachute without a stunt man as Akshay did in Khiladi 420?

very funny. it cud not cross 150 crore idiot because it did not had 5 to 6 day weekend or enjoy the luxury to help reach high collection or hiked ticket prices, remember agneepath, bodyguards 20 cr opening came from holiday, rowdy rathore was 100% for 1st week, but with holiday it wud of been earth shattering. it was the best trending non holiday movie of the year so far. otherwide let RR release this week then collections wud of been higher by 50% more, and akki was better than teja, u only have to look at akki’s body movement to lanky teja and see the difference.
