Ek Tha Tiger is now officially the second blockbuster of 2012. The film has absolutely shattered all box-office records – including those on the much-dreaded weekdays.
Infact, what has come as a complete surprise for the trade, is the Tuesday collections (16.31), which is higher than Thursday (14.52) and Friday (12.9) and almost as good as Saturday (16.75). These are jaw-dropping figures for working days.
The film has dropped at select high-end multiplexes by almost 50-55%, but at the mass-centres, especially the single-screens, it’s taken-off with record numbers for a working weekday.

@Alex sallu ke pagal fan,, sun Don2 better hain ETT se salman ki star power hain aur kuch nahi jahan uski bodyguard jaisi ghatiya avarage movie bhi blockbuster hoti hain toh ETT Usse kahi jyada better hain.. Aur 75% multiplex mein tickets rates abhi v hike hain, mere yaha to abhitak tickets hike hain. 3 bade holidays mile hain ETT ko first week mein.. Aur 3300 plus screen ye bhi ek naya record hain.. To 137cr in frist week toh bante hi hain. Nothing marvelous it’s my opinion.

Why can’t everyone just enjoy Shahrukh Khan AND Salman Khan films?? Why do they always have to be compared?? It’s like comparing George Clooney and LeanardoDiCaprio, its not possible!
SRK and Salman are BOTH extremely talented and equally unique actors who have fantastic personalities and do incredible work. Both of their films? are amazingly entertaining and a joy to watch.
I’m a huge fan of theirs from the UK & every1 in India should just enjoy films and stop commenting on money & popularity………..
