Since the box office collections of Ek Tha Tiger dropped steadily on Thursday and Friday, after a record-breaking start on Wednesday, the trade and especially Salman Khan fans were anxiously waiting to see if the film picks up today.
The good news is, the evening shows had much better occupancy today, and the advance booking for the night shows (after 9PM) is very good, with several shows sold out in advance. Note: Only multiplexes, as we couldn’t track the single-screen business today.
While it’s still too early to give estimates, expect better numbers today – anything in the range of 14-16 crores nett. Sunday and Monday are likely to be huge.
