Ek Tha Tiger crossed the 200 crore mark (worldwide collections), in less than 12 days, to become the fastest money-spinner of all time. As of today, the film has collected a staggering 221 crores in India and overseas markets.

Ek Tha Tiger is now likely to be the second highest worldwide grosser of all time – only behind 3 Idiots, which did business of 385 crores (India gross 270 crore).

@indicine thanks for the news but wanted to ask you couple of questions is that i saw your review on ek tha tiger which is 2.5 and then I saw you review on kites you gave 3 or 3.5 which is very surprising and now you are going to say they lot of effort was put in kites. so did salman in ek tha tiger. please be biased. even you gave don 2 four stars and masterpiece 3idiots you gave only 3 stars. now you tell me which movie is better don 2 or 3 idiots. comparing farhan with raju is like compiring one story house with world trade center

@marz I am not taking anything away from don 2 it was a preatty good movie and i liked it but movies like 3 idoits are made once inlife time. my only problem is with indicine reviews not don 2 and you tell me honestly despite of not a strong content but which movies is better kites or ek tha tiger give me honest answer
@Ahmed, every individual is different and opinions differ. Even the best of films are not liked by all. As for 3 Idiots, I had immense expectations from the film and immediately after watching it, I thought it wasn’t as good as Munnabhai MBBS or Lage Raho Munnabhai. I didn’t like a couple of scenes, as mentioned in the review. BUT, on repeat watch I really liked it a lot and have now watched it several times on TV and DVD. Today I would rate it 4. :)

@Nishad,we have seen the real power of Salman with Yuvraaj in 2009,even A.R Rahman music,well acclaimed director Subhash Ghai & good form of Katrina who was coming from hits like Singh is Kinng, Newyork & Ajab Prem Ghazab Kahaani could not stop the film from becoming disaster.
Every big website and big trade analyst of film is saying that Ek Tha Tiger has collected around 178 crores nett in India in 13 days except Box office india which shows 166 cr nett. What is happenning with BOI.
