Shah Rukh Khan’s Dilwale has collected Rs 65.09 crore in its first weekend at the box office, which is very good when you consider the fact that the film was up against Bajirao Mastani (which is carrying excellent reports) and also the disruption in screens in different parts of the country.
Dilwale now enters the most crucial phase; the box office fate of the film, including that of its investors, now relies on how well it performs on Monday and the remaining weekdays.
At centres we tracked, the occupancy for the morning shows on Monday is around 50-55% lower compared to Friday – which is a normal drop. The film is looking at first week business in the range of Rs 100 crore.

I have got some solid information. Both producers in association with BOI have inflated Dilwale collections.
Super Cinema #Dilwale : Fri- 20 cr, Sat- 18 cr, Sun- 21.5 cr, total: 59.5 cr.
Raj Bansal: Sunday Day 3 #Dilwale collected appox over ?20 crores where as #BajiraoMastani collected around ?18 crores.
I can confirm from BookMyShow also.. ticket sales of Bajirao and Dilwale were same.. about 10% more for Dilwale.
What say @Indicine.. most people know I work for BookMyShow.. I have access to this information :D BOI and Producers are both inflating.

Watched dilwale. Extremely disappointed. Srks worst film in a long long time. Rohit tried to do a yash chopra cum abbas mustan but forgot to do a Rohit shetty. That is make an entertaining comedy film with romance thrill as subplot.
End Result- a boring clichéd romance with stupid twists and only a few comic scenes.

i know Rohits next Ram lakhan will star youngistaan stars most probably Arjun kapoor in it so i badly hope Rohit gives some importance to the films script and plays to his strength instead of trying to jump beyond his reach
As we all know Monday is the real test for all movies and i think we should all wait till the end of the day to predict where Dilwale & BM will go as this one is very tricky to call. The haters will keep writing rubbish and we should ignore them.For Dilwale screen space sharing, low screen count and poor SS quality are the major issues for the damage not to forget losing out 2 days in many centers. If it came alone for sure there were full chances of 250-280 Plus with some records in circuits.
Becoz neutral fans had a choice they moved to BM as reviews on whatsapp and facebook feeds of Dilwale being poor were varying on neutral fans minds and seeing BM have top notch reviews attracted them all.If there was no BM the neutral fans would have come to Dilwale for sure making it a blockbuster.
So I accompanied the family for the movie yday on Sunday ( 2nd time watching it) and realised that only core SRK fans can see it 2 times as there is no repeat value for normal fans leave alone neutral ones. The script was weak and the momentum only kicked in with SRK and Kajol’s past and was a delight from there on. While we all know that BM is a Multiplex movie and should only do well on the weekends but something is different here as in some circuits on sat and sun which are not multiplex dominated BM was very close to Dilwale. Maharashtra was expected to favour BM but more than Dilwale never thought.
For example the multiplex i went yday in Bangalore 50 % occupancy for the afternoon show for Dilwale, a little worry some(Saw HNY on the 2nd weekend Sunday same multiplex with 80% occupancy last year). In Bangalore you would expect Dilwale to have 100% occupancy on a Sunday off day in the 1st weekend. The centers which just started screening yday will add some support from today for sure but on weekends if the big centers didn’t hold can’t see them holding on Monday onwards. One needs Maharashtra ,Gujarat and NCR to fire for Dilwale which didn’t in the weekend.
So worst case scenario 130 CR and best case 160 CR max. As an SRK fan hoping that it passes the Monday test with 12 cr Plus ? as the negative WOM is only on the net and I don’t see that in the halls as all looked very pleased the 1st time and when I visited the 2nd time. The SS will hold fort for sure but Multiplex will let Dilwale down.
The disruption of shows had affected the collections. Otherwise it would have collected more than that….
Atleast 11-12 cr today .. Anything above 13 cr will be phenomenal & will set the film for an amazing run here on.
I have been silently noticing and reading all the articles about both the movies since the last couple of days.
Huge negativity spread by Bhakts around Dilwale which is a shame. Worst part some fans (apart from the fake bots) are enjoying this, just remember this thing can happen to any other actor, SRK is surviving it but I doubt if any other actor will.
Plus people claiming protests haven’t affected the movie much, just think rationally, you have a family and you know for a fact that there have been protests by a group of goons in your city, Will you still dare to step out with your family to watch the movie ? I highly doubt. For everyone, the security of the family comes first.
So think twice before you comment bullshit.
Kudos to the one’s who have stood by SRK and contributed towards Dilwale.
The collections for me are still excellent.
& I am positive about a huge lifetime total.
