Shah Rukh Khan’s Dilwale has been performing reasonably well at the domestic box office, even though collections are now down to low levels. The film has shown decent growth on New Year eve and also on New Year.
The India business will finish at around the 150 crore mark (net), while the overseas business is set for a 145 – 150 crore finish (gross). The film has underperformed in India, but Dilwale will be the highest grosser for Shah Rukh Khan in the overseas markets. Before conversion from US dollars to INR, My Name Is Khan will remain his highest grosser as it collected $23.8 million back in 2010. But since the exchange rate in February 2010 was Rs 46.3 per USD, compared to Rs 66.2 today, Dilwale will be his biggest earner.
The worldwide gross collections in 15 days is around Rs 315 crore.

Yes dilwaale is not a very good movie but if srk’s underperforming movie collects this much then sky will be limit for a well made movie in holiday period

@indicine i want To ask something: a film is declared hit if it do The double of its budget, superhit when is double+50% of its budget;
Then i want To ask that if a budget is 200 crs then if a film does 400cr (Just An example) then it Will be Just a hit?
And another question: robot 2.0 Will have a budget of 350 crs, Then how they think To recover because its nearly impossibile that a dubbed film’s hindi version does more than 250 Cs in hindi only (bhaubali did 107 crs)

Bajirao mastani inching closer over prdp in overseas imaging bm and prdp on diwali it could have been same results. I accept srk is defeated but he is not done and dusted. He will rise and soar in box office with critical fan and commercial raess.
SRK fans: This movie could have easily beaten pk, but unfortunately problems are going on all over India.
Mumbai: The theaters have run out of perfume, and it smells bad, so nobody is coming

I also urge all my fellow Srkians not to give in to the haters and call Dilwale a bad film, Dilwale might not be King Khan’s greatest film, but its not his worst either, if the movie released instead of HNY last year, it would have easily gone past 250 cr in worst case.
I also feel SRK could’ve released Dilwale on 25th December.
1st thing, it would’ve broken HNY’s opening day record, maybe HNY’s highest weekend record too and atleast a 150 cr 1st week which would’ve ensured that the negativity and boycotts don’t affect the movie in the long run.
Dilwale has lost atleast 50-60 cr because of the clash, plus I am sure Bajirao wouldn’t have earned even 110-120 cr if it was a solo release, the clash with Dilwale gave it unnecessary hype which benefited this over-rated boring film.
Nevertheless, it shouldn’t matter for a Superstar of SRK’s caliber, FAN and Raees are SRK’s next, so be rest assured Srkians, let the haters bark for now.

The domestic collections are very average and disapppointing compared to what was expected. But the overseas collections are really amazing. Such an average movie and also competing with Star Wars and BM but still going on to be SRKs highest grosser. That is quite an achievement. Movie was very low on content compared to PK and BB but still such awesome collections. But if SRK will continue to do such movies he will lose his fan base internationally also. He should realize now that content is more important than his, Kajols and Rohit combo. Looking forward to Raees and Fan.

Dilwale is the best entertaining film of the year. Bajirao mastani is a bad film.
Dilwale’s collections on New Year are lesser than your estimate, same applies for 31st december as well. Doesn’t really matter though. SRK has made tonnes of money, distributors have lost it by bucketloads. Good thing is, Bajirao Mastani is set to earn in excess of 25 cr in week 3 and is looking to finish at 170 cr at least. Better trending would get it to 180 crores too, a far cry though.
Shame on Srk and RCE for not coming out with the collection numbers in the last few days. Sore losers
