Shah Rukh Khan’s Dilwale has failed to show growth on its second day at the box office. As per early estimates, the film has collected around 20 crore on Friday. Most centres were at around the same level as Friday, while a few others have dropped. The best case seems to be similar collections as Friday.
The other release this week, Bajirao Mastani has shown excellent growth in business. The percentage of growth at most centres that we tracked was around 10-15%. As per estimates, the final collections for Day 2 will be around the 14-15 crore mark. The film is performing exceeding well in the state of Maharastra. At quite a few centres in the state, Bajirao Mastani has surpassed the business of Dilwale. In other states too, the gap has narrowed quite considerably from Friday.
Saturday was always going to be crucial for both films and the trend suggests Bajirao Mastani ‘could’ eventually do what was thought to be impossible before release. The Ranveer Singh – Deepika Padukone starrer was clearly the smaller film here and the underdog could emerge victorious, if it manages to match the business of Dilwale on Sunday.
Guys Chill. Dilwale is here for long run. many shows cancelled might have a very big impact but it shall recover every penny in long run.

SRK as Kaali was just MINDBLOWING.. Don’t spoil your mood bec of protest by craps, go & watch it with families, they will 100% like it..
Dilwale should had better growth today.. less shows and less screens (specially in SS which is Dilwale’s place) , + protest + the 880 shows which got cancelled is effecting it, when so many shows get cancelled every where, then better growth can’t be expected. but the film is good i hope it shows better growth in upcoming days….

Well after observing the wom ratings and bo trend of both the films all i would like to say is- Dilwale ka toh pata nahi but ur so called mighty King has ruined the chance of BM becoming a blockbuster. Had it released solo it would hv easily scored a 50cr weekend. Anyways bm will still emerge a big hit but i really hope ki Dilwale atleast emerges a semi hit and doesn’t end up becoming Srks first failure since paheli…!!! :(
