  • @ ?? ?ù?? at 2:33 pm : Very true words.

    Dilip shb is not just an acting legend but an acting GIANT. Few days before I had mentioned that even though I had just seen two movies of his but was completely blown away by his acting in both.

    In one movie ‘Karma’ he was truly exceptional and easily looked above some very good actors like Naseeruddin Shah, Anupam Kher, Anil Kapoor and Jackie Shroff. He looked class apart and easily came on top of all those actors including a great actor like Naseeruddin Shah.

    And in the other movie ‘Shakti’ he managed an edge over another legend ‘Amitabh’ (who almost matched him). It was a clash of titans and Dilip shb was truly unbelievable.

    I agree that other big stars like Amitabh Bachchan have gotten due attention from media. But feels sad to see that some one like Dilip shb does not get due praises and coverage.

    One of my wishes is to see the original Devdas movie. SRK was great in the remake but I m sure Dilip shbs performance would be something else.

    And yes SRK playing Dilip shbs biopic will be something great.

  • @ Miyabhai at 3:08 pm : If u dont have any idea abt Dilip shbs stardom and acting prowess then u shouldnt be speaking abt it. SRK himself is a huge fan of Dilip shb, go and watch his interviews.

    Dilip shb was such an inspiration for all the stars that no wonder stars such as SRK and Amitabh may have also copied him sometimes.

  • Get well soon Dilip Sir. Class and Style are the words I can associate you with.

    Aamir Khan our desi Dustin Hoffman…. looking too good yaar?….love your ride it’s cool too?

    @Navin 3.36pm

    Very true!!!

    @ANK

    Anytime you have chance try and watch “Mashall” n “Vidhaata” both Dilip sahab movies early 80s. esp Mashaal his acting was just phenomenal. Also one of the best performance of Anil kapoor(along with Meri Jung & Tezaab) plus the songs were cute.

  • @ANK, good to see. Who on earth had ever imagined let alone believe, that srk has at least 1 sensible fan on this planet!!
    :-) Still cant believe but really hatts of to you for changing the once eternal reality that srk doesnt have a single sensible fan on earth. Anyways thanks for your most time worthy and sensible comments.

  • @ Suchit at 10:46 pm : U r welcome :)

    I like all the actors be it SRK, Amir, Salman, HR, Ajay or Akshay. With SRK it is sort of a “special connection” and so like and adore him the most.

    But after SRK, it is Amir whom I love and respect the most and then the remaining 4 senior actors. Huge respect for Amir for delivering high quality movies. More than the box office returns I am a fan of quality cinema and thats where Amir Khan remains unparalleled. He has set very high standards. So apart from Raees and Fan, it is Dangal I am looking most forward to.

  • @ Suchit at 10:46 pm : And honestly the definition of “sensible fan” sometimes gets very tricky.

    SRK fans must have bashed other stars definitely. But I have also seen many (in fact a large majority) fans of Amir, Salman, Ajay and Akshay bashing SRK like anything and at the same time also saw them complaining about SRK fans being “insensible” which looked funny really. I am not taking a dig at you or anyone else and just sharing the reality that it is a 2 way bashing and not a one way.

    Very very few users I have seen here at Indicine who comment unbiasedly and look neutral. Rite now I can think of one name only and that is “Aashish Thappar”. Really enjoy reading his comments and rate him at first here at Indicine and the biggest reason is havent seen him trashing, abusing and making fun of other stars and look to be unbiased.

    Other than Aashish cant name one other single user (as per my limited info) who I have seen giving completely unbiased opinions here. Maybe there would be so saying that from what little I have seen here at Indicine.

    Anyways thanks again for your comments. And that was just an honest sharing and dont take it personally :)

  • @ANK totally agree with you
    and yess i wish for a biopic on Dilip Sahaab and SRK playing the role

  • @ANK, yes I agree that its a 2 way. So I would be hypocrite if i deny that other fanbases also bash srk. Even i also agree that some aamir fans like @legend aamir khan or @dangal ATBB this december are very anmoying and their comments are disgusting to read. They have many timed bashed srk and other stars from front. So i would be netral here to accept the truth. Although i like salman also, but i agree that some of his fans like @tiger, @nvs, @js and few others except @hrithik and @JC are very annoying and write senseless comments against srk. No.matter how hard they hate srk, but they have to respect him because he has achieved a lot and the kind of consistency he has shown over the years is unparallel to match for anyone else. Though you and some srk fans to extent are very calm, polite and neutral deserve respect, but i find ot very unfortunate that an actor like srk has some of the most immature, cheap and disgusting fans like @sss, @iamAKN, @fasal kerala, @the phenom, @Javed, etc. An actor like srk doesnt deserve such fans. Anyways, I hope that fans from both sides grow up and post positive comments in the future. And once again, thanks for your comments they are very positive and nice to read. I also like and respect srk and other superstars after Aamir.

  • @ Suchit at 10:14 pm : But there is also a price u have to pay to continue being positive and nice. At times gets extremely difficult to continue remain positive and talk nice especially about stars whose fans bash and insult SRK (which in the case of Fan movie the fans of all stars did).

    At times there are some comments which when I read really make my blood boil. After the release of Fan, saw such negative comments and not only from the normal SRK haters but also from some users which I never expected. Not that I wanted them to unnecessarily praise or support the movie but didnt expect them to gang up with SRK haters at a time when he was really down. I was equally ok with them calling a movie crap (if that was their honest opinion) but to join hands with the SRK haters and lecturing and criticising SRK and their fans really made my blood boil.

    And honestly SRK fans must have done the same too with Salman fans in past with Jai Ho and PRDPs underperformance.

    So with all this happening around, gets extremely tough to continue remain positive and neutral. May be someday I will lose my positivity here too but I hope not.

    Just shared with u all as we were having a talk. Good to talk to u :)

  • @ANK, the smae thing i also exoerienced when i never used to mock or troll other stars. But indicine is such platform,that different users take more than enough kf opportunity to go to any extent. Most movie lovers are addicted to indicine so every actor has many different haters. Haters are not necessarily fans of other stars, as they may pretend to be. But u never know that some people pretend and claim to be fan of anybparticular superstar, just to target him or they have to play safe by not letting anyone know who their actual idol is. So all such sorts of things keep going. But I dont see any such negativity can affect the stars in their actual career, as it has everythubg to do with their choice of script, release period, audience’s mood weather to watch or not, and many different situations which overal decides. Because the number of people visiting social networking sites are way too less as compared to actual movie goers. So i dont think we have to get affected by such small group of people who blabber anything. Because we dont even know who they are, we cant even meet them face to face or do anythung, so best way to do is ignore them. I also felt like a hot blood when people use abusive language and talk mindless all the time, but now i have decided to just skip their comments and never to read, and rather read only positive and good comments from matured and decent users. Cheers…!! It was great to talk to you.

  • @ Suchit: Well I never said that the negativity here has any impact on the box office results of movies, Fan or otherwise. Its obviously dependent on other factors and as u mentioned some.

    Agreed overall on what u said.
