Dil Dhadakne Do Box Office Prediction

Zoya Akhtar’s Dil Dhadakne Do releases in theatres tomorrow. The film has a massive star-cast with actors like Ranveer Singh, Anushka Sharma, Priyanka Chopra, Farhan Akhtar, Anil Kapoor and Shefali Shah headlining the film.

Unlike ‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns’, the cost of ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’ is on the higher side and the target audience of the film is limited to major cities. But the fact that the film is Zoya’s first after ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’, should ensure a good opening at the box office on Friday. Dil Dhadakne Do also features Farhan Akhtar, who commands a decent fan-following in metro cities.  Priyanka Chopra and Anushka Sharma are popular female stars too.

As part of our #IndicineFBO predictions, we expect Dil Dhadakne Do to collect Rs 9.5 crore on Day 1.

  • Flop!!
But i have a little hope from Zoya Akhter…She made classy movie znmd back 4 years ago…Just can’t forget the movie…Hope this atleast make average/above average at box-office…Ranveer gonna ruin it…

  • I predict DDD will open bigger than Akki’s two flops of this year. Akki should find a place to beg right now.

  • You can Believe zoya and farhan…. It will be a good film…
    At box office-average

  • 8-9 Cr
It Will Be An Above average At Boxoffice Considering high Budget .
And Can Also ße A HIT If it Gets GOod Reviews .
Anil kpur & Ranveer Singh R looking impressive in the trailer . it Will be A Good Watch !!

  • Youngsters like Ranbir, ranvir, Sid and Varun have already beaten Akki. Now Akki has become a 8th wonder of the world, continuously giving flops aftr flops. He has already given two flops in 2015 so far.

  • 100 crores is quite tough to achieve. But have full trust on Zoya. The pre-release reports are terrific
Finally good days in Bollywood are back

  • Don’t know why people are spreading negativity around the film. They did the same with BV, although the movie was average too.
But here the reviews are outstanding up till now and the movie really seems brilliant in terms of comedy, story, locations and direction.
With a track record Zoya Akhtar has and smart script sense of Farhan, I don’t understand why it won’t be a fantastic film.
Well, I am gonna watch and it will be worth it.
People already calling it a flop can go put a cactus up their arse.

  • BB day 1-28 only
28 is not enough for bajrangi bhaijaan…i am going with 32

  • 8-10 Cr
it will open average just like ZNMD &
Will Be An Above average At Boxoffice Considering high Budget .
And Can Also ße A HIT If it Gets GOod Reviews .
Anil kpur & Ranveer Singh R looking impressive in the trailer & the songs r also Quite Good , no boring slow pace song .. it Will be A Good Watch !!

  • DDD First day -10cr
    Lifetime-75cr(max)
But for BAJRANGI BHAIJAAN 28cr first day is less
    BB first day-32+
    lifetime-250+

  • 100crs+ is very unlikely unless it gets tremendous WOM which i am not sure of bcoz from the reviews I have read so far,it is 2hrs45min. long, music is’nt popular either and is nowhere near ZNMD.

Also there are decent releases in subsequent weeks in the form of HAK and ABCD 2 which will take a significant chunk of screens from it.

And not to forget TWMR which is still doing great(I watched it today and loved it,it is very high on entertainment quotient)

  • 8-10 Cr
it will open average just like ZNMD &
Will Be An Above average At Boxoffice Considering high Budget .
And Can Also ße A HIT If it Gets GOod Reviews .
Anil kpur & Ranveer Singh R looking impressive in the trailer & the songs r also Quite Good , no boring slow pace song like HAK . it Will be A Good Watch !!

  • Drishyam won’t open with 11crs,i don’t think it will have good music to sustain the buzz created by its trailer till its release..

  • ABCD 2’s prediction looks on a higher side too, buzz is’nt that great as you would have expected.

  • Now I am wondering How did ZNMD managed to get a superhit verdict collecting 90crs as it was shot in foreign locales too and with a much bigger starcast comprising of Hrithik and Katrina…

  • The content of this film has to be absolutely immense to have success at the box office. Movies like this are still somewhat risky these days, and the fact it lacks a big star to excite the fans and draw them to the theaters won’t help it either.

I expect it to get a decent/average opening due to its urban feel and lack of hit music.

  • This year belongs to SRK only…

    Bajrangi Bhai..- 185 cr. (max)
    Prem Ratan..- 175 cr. (max)
    &
    Dilwaale- 185 175 = 360cr. (min)

  • Don’t miss Dil Dhadakne Do…releasing tomorrow…and watch all the most ajeeb jaanwars! Have fun! Aamir Khan

    @aamir_khan u r the Main Reason , For u I will Watch it. .Looking forward to #DDD

  • The prediction is looking decent . I am not sure whether this movie will be successful or not . This is Post IPL Period which has been great for Box Office in the last 6 years . Here is the analysis of Post IPL Releases
    2009 – New York
    2010 – Raajneeti
    2011 – Ready
    2012 – Rowdy Rathore
2013 – Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani
    2014 – Holiday

So this proves that no movie has been a flop in the Post IPL Period . I hope this turns out to true and DDD also emerges out to be Hit . The problem in DDD is that the length of the movie is long . It is about 170 Minutes . I hope the movie is good . I am not expecting a ZNMD from Zoya but if it is good i will be happy . If it has content then it will be successful . Another factor is that in the 2nd week it will face competition from HAK which is looking like a good Romantic movie . If HAK is good then DDD will be affected in the 2nd Week but if is not that good then DDD will do well in the 2nd Week . Overall a interesting situation !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I also predicted the same for bb
    My prediction was …
    1st day : 29 crore
    2nd day : 38 crore
    3rd day : 35 crore
    4rd day : 16 crore ( lol ..!!! )
    5th day : 13 crore
    6th day : 10 crore
    7th day : 8 crore
    1st week : 150 crore
    2nd week : 30 crore
    Lifetime 180 to 195 crore
Maybe it will tank at box office who noz?

  • ddd’s first day will be 8 crore and lifetime will be 70 crore. bajrangi bhaijaan will do 34 crore and lifetime will be 340 cuz its not a remake.

  • bb
    first day 35+
    second day 36+
    third day 40+
    fourth day 20+
    five day 18+
    six day 16+
    seven day 16
