It’s official! Producer Ratan Jain has confirmed that the sequel to the 2000 love musical ‘Dhadkan’ will go on floors later this year.
In an official statement, Jain of Venus Films said “A lot of people have been constantly asking me about our plans of making Dhadkan 2. Hence, I am happy to announce that we plan to go on the floors this year. The essence of the film will remain the same however, the new age sensibilities will be kept in mind. The film has been titled Dhadkan 2 – The Heart Beats Once Again”
The original Dhakhan featured Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty and Shilpa Shetty in a love triangle. The film collected Rs 12.5 crores at the box office when it released in 2000.
Dharmesh Darshan will be directing the sequel.

Dhadkan is still the best film of suneil shetty for his emotional expressions and performance though he wa stagged as an action hero with no talents.I have seen this film several times bcoz all the actors were very good.
