Department Release Date

Official announcement: Ram Gopal Varma’s Department will release on May 18th 2012!

The film features Amitabh Bachchan as a gangster-turned-politician, Sanjay Dutt and Rana Daggubati as encounter specialists and south Indian actress Madhu Saline makes her Bollywood debut as a gangster.

In the past, RGV has directed critically acclaimed films of similar genre’s related to underworld wars. Department is a story of a group of encounter specialists of Mumbai Police, who have different perspectives towards separate underworld groups.

The film will be a continuation of RGV’s earlier film Company (2002).
