Madhuri Dixit’s second release of 2014 has opened slower than her previous film Dedh Ishqiya. The latter was made on a higher budget, but managed to sustain better as it was carrying better reports.
With the critically-acclaimed Queen being the first choice at multiplexes this week, close to 45% of Gulaab Gang’s business is coming from single-screens at mass-centres, which is never a good sign.
While Dedh Ishqiya finished with lifetime business of 28.1 crore, Gulaab Gang is likely to finish with all India net collections of 16-17 crore.

Dedh ishqiya was a better film..
Queen is a beautiful movie. Just like english vinglish and znmd,i got a genuine smile after watching it.
It was very meaningful and realistic.it’s the screen play will create a mood for watching the movie. .direction is praise worthy too.there are many funny moments in the movie.
Kangana was phenomenal.she made me feel proud again. .she was funny in some scenes,sad in some. .but she has maintained the image of a simple and innocent girl throughout the movie.there were some too funny scenes like a scene where the smuggler tried to take away her bag/purse,but she didn’t leave it and cried like an innocent girl and that guy left her.also i loved the way she got changed.vahl has presented all the emotions of a girl beautifully.rajkumar rao and lisa played their part very well. .
Music is perfect for its kind. It mayn’t be made to perform on stage.but it creates the mood. Background score is awesome. Sometimes i feel amit trivedi is one of the best composers ever in bollywood.i don’t think his all songs sound similar.
So over all, it’s a must watch. U will get a genuine smile. .you willn’t get unsatisfied.
