The trailer of Aamir Khan’s Dangal has gone viral not only in India, but in several countries across the world. Released on 20th October, the trailer was the fastest to cross 5 million, 10 million, 15 million and also the 20 million mark.

The most watched Hindi film trailer is Sultan, which has more than 33 million views on Youtube. Judging by the pace at which Dangal is going, it could soon replace Sultan as the most watched Hindi trailer.
Dangal has also become the top trend on Youtube in various countries, including India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, UAE, Qatar, Nepal, Singapore, Oman and a few others. The trailer has also made it to the Top 5 in countries like Australia, New Zealand and Malaysia.
Starring Aamir Khan in the lead, Dangal releases in theatres on 23rd December 2016.

Coming to Dangal trailer, the trailer has exceeded my expectation as the story I already new but the way the trailer tell the story is freaking awesome. The casting looking top notch, the girls are looking exceptional, supporting cast is perfect as well. Dialogues and title track looking solid.
What can be said for Aamir, he is beyond excellence. The best part of trailer comes (shocking and killing as well) when we see a well toned Aamir with excellent physique for younger version. The physical transformation is unparalleled. Dangal was/is always been the movie of the 2016 for me and as the trailer goes, I am pretty much confident that it will be a box office monster in domestic and overseas market. It will be sureshot winner in critical appreciation too.
Although the movie has three big hurdles for achieving the biggest movie of the year title.
1. Biggest is the audience who is still angry over Aamir intolerance comment, those will boycott the film.
2. Sultan, many people will find Dangal similar to Sultan, but Sultan was fictional movie but Dangal is a biopic.
3. Dangal won’t able to get Christmas and New year day holiday as advantage because both will coincide with Sunday.
Still I think Aamir and team Dangal will go beyond all these hurdles and silent all the negative vibes.
Regarding YouTube view and records, It hardly matters for me. I am happy that the trailer get homogeneous response om YouTube with record breaking spree, though it is a answer for all those people who take these views/likes thing too serious that Aamir can create havoc in this platform too.

Best thing was Aamir’s physical transformation. 2nd best thing was Daler Mehdi song that gave goosebumps to everyone. 3rd best thing was narration and dialogues. All dialogues were epic.
Personally, if promoted well by Aamir, Dangal could open better than Sultan even on a non holiday.
