  • @ Kabir

Don-2 was NOT a masala film. Don-2 did not appeal to masses. Still, Don-2 Crosses 100 crores.

Dabanng-2 is full MASALA film & still struggling to cross 140 crores.

  • @ khan jthj opening weekend collection in overseas is 22 cr…

& dabangg 2 overseas opening weekend collection is 23 cr….

so dabangg 2 beat jthj in atleast opening despite jthj had overseas friendly genre while dabangg 2 had indian rustic feel….

so dude grow up don’t search for excuses….dabangg 2 opening in overseas shows that in any country…genre doesn’t matter….but stardom matters….

& salman squarely defeated srk in overseas opening weekend & in india as welll!!

    also jthj 2nd week collection is 15 cr….dabangg 2 2nd weeekend collection is 15 cr….!! bol ab..

  • @ review…abe hijde…abuse kyun kar raha hain…even if ur srk fan i’m also srk fan…don’t abuse any other fans….

  • well whoever said dabangg 2 wont cross life time collection of dabangg they r nothing but a jealeous salman haters. they r just making statement for the shake of statement. don2 a solo release didnot cross even 105 cr of net business and ett cross 110 cr of dist. share officially and 106 cr by boi figures. well i already said about recent trending so its not worth comparing dabangg 25 cr 2nd weekend with dabangg2 21 cr 2nd weekened. but if u compare 2nd week figures dabangg2 will definitely out do it predecessor. 31st and 1st jan will definetely get bigger while 2nd and 3rd jan will also remain steady so 40 crore + 2nd week is definetely there so just chill guys. And please dont hype it in a big way. Steven spielburg and tom cruise are biggest stars of hollywood but they haven’t been member of any billion dollar club but yes they have impressive records and whenever they got biug movies they made most out of it. Salman is india’s answer to tom cruise for sure. tnx.

  • this is jus for that fool arjun..who is flying on collections of ddlj..watch this..

This decade has been split into two parts. Section one is after Hum Aapke Hain Kaun and section two before Hum Aapke Hain Kaun. The release of Hum Aapke Hain Kaun was a defining moment in the box office history of Hindi cinema. Hum Aapke Hain was a limited release on hand picked theatres by the makers of the film and prints were only given if theatres were upgraded to a certain level. Due to unparalleled demand for the film after its release, exhibitors upgraded their theatres to get prints of the film. This resulted in ticket prices going up heavily and the family audience which rarely ventured into cinema halls at the time due to sub standard theatres came back in full force and not only did Hum Aapke Hain Kaun smash all records but took business for films released afterwards to another level. To put into perspective how business changed after Hum Aapke Hain Kaun is that before Hum Aapke Hain Kaun an all India share of 10 crore for a big film was regarded as blockbuster business but after Hum Aapke Hain Kaun the blockbuster business figure went to 20 crore.
