Dabangg 2 has smashed opening weekend records in Pakistan, where Salman Khan is by far the biggest star in the country. The film has collected PKR 3.41 crores (Indian Rupees 1.92 crore).
The craze for Dabangg 2 is such that the film has almost doubled the business of Ajay Devgn’s Son Of Sardaar, which collected close to Rs 1 crore in 6 days (extended weekend)!
The film also broke the opening day record in Pakistan and was the first film to do PKR 1 crore in a single day.

On September 2010,Salman Khan was reported to have claimed duringan interview to a Pakistani channel that the 26/11 attacks got a lot of attention because the “elite” were targeted. During the interview the actor had said – ” It was the elite that was targeted this time. Five star hotels and stuff. So they panicked. Then they got up and spoke about it. My question is why not before. Attacks have happened intrains and small towns too, but no one talked about it so much.” Khan also said that Pakistan was not to beblamed for it, and that the Indian security forces had failed. The comments were also condemned by Ujwal Nikam, Special Prosecutor in the 26/11 trial. Khan later apologised for his comments. Nd today Salman have to appear in Court also
