Dabangg 2 has gone past the lifetime collections of Akshay Kumar’s Rowdy rathore (Rs 135 crore net) in just 12 days, to be the second biggest grosser of 2012.
Much like 2011 (Bodyguard and Ready), Salman Khan now has the first and second highest grossers of 2012 – Ek Tha Tiger (Rs 199.3 cr) and Dabangg 2 (Rs 142 cr in 13 days).
With no competition till Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola, which looks like a film targeted at the multiplex audience, Dabangg 2 is likely to surpass the lifetime collections of Dabangg (Rs 140 crore) and also cross the 150 crore mark.

- First Week – 106.5 crore
- 2nd Weekend – 21 crore
- 2nd Monday – 4.5 crore
- 2nd Tuesday (New Year) – 7.5 crore

Mera pyara srk tho 130 days mei bi 130 crores nahi kar payega, shame on him. I think he should now retire from bollywood and start acting in tv serials otherwise he will not have money to buy any awards. Shame to be a srk fan, from now no i have converted to bhai fan.
I agree that there is overdose of Masala films & hence people wants some change now.
But if you look at main upcoming films then all are different from each others like OATIM2,Krrish3,Sohail’s Next & Dhoom3. All are not masala films.
Only masala film releasing in 2013 is Chennai Express & all side effects of masala overdoses will go on Chennai Express.

Ruler mere anpad bhai if it release in more theatre then theatre owner wont come and watch movies. . Theatre requires audience not more screens . .for ex if movie has 100 viewers and has only 1 screens and its capacity is 50 members for week then rest 50 member wil watch in 2nd week but if it has 100 members capacity for week then whole 100 or minimum 85 members wil watch in 1st week itself so screens has nothing to do with lifetime collection it only matters to opening day and weekend collection got it ma anpad bro. .
