Vidyut Jamwal’s Commando has started well at the box office on Friday. The film collected Rs 3.5 crore, which is about 10% higher than Nautanki Saala the other release this weekend.
The film opened well at single screens, especially at mass centres where action films attract a huge audience. At multiplexes, the opening was poor, but business did pick up towards the end of the day.
For the morning and noon shows on Saturday, few centres have reported slightly higher occupancy compared to Friday. The weekend collections is likely to be around 12 crores.
