Ranbir Kapoor and Vidya Balan took home the top acting honours at the 19th Annual Colors Screen Awards 2013. Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif were awarded the Best Actor/Actress Popular awards.
Paan Singh Tomar was declared the Best Film of the year, while Anurag Basu won the Best Director trophy for his critically acclaimed and commercially successful Barfi.
Amitabh Bachchan was presented with the ‘Legend Of Indian Cinema’ award. Filmmaker Yash Chopra, who passed away last year, was posthumously given the Lifetime Achievement award.

@xzone. Dude i have already said that salman is not the best actor in bollywood but srk isn’t either. What salman can do srk cant and probably what srk can do better salman cant. Salman should have had won filmfare for tere naam and many other films but he didnt and srk didnt deserve some filmfare awards, not that he was bad but some other actors were much better than him.

There is no doubt salman deserved award for dabbang 2. He did fantastic job. So as srk hritik ranbeer sanju Amir who won award in the past. Jury can’t satisfy every single person. There is nothing fake.

I disagree with most of you, but i feel, this is clearly the best award that i have seen from a long long time.
Priyanka overacted and the most deserving were Sri and Vidya, and Vidya won. Congrats.
There was no doubt on Ranbir winning, and Salman and Katrina bagging the popular awards, because they are popular no matter what some fans of other stars says.
Rest all the winners were truly taken on the merit of the award, and i appreciate that they gave Paan Singh Tomar the best movie award.
This award really has instilled faith in me and hope to see this on television soon.

Salman did not win the ‘best actor’ award, but the best ‘popular’ award. Now read that 100 times and understand the difference.
Hollywood is the copy cat king. If you don’t believe, go check the internet on how many thousands films have been copied from foreign languages by Hollywood.
