Colors Screen Awards 2011 Winners

Note: From 2012, the rights of the screen awards (which was previously called Star Screen Awards) was acquired by Colors this year.

The big winners at the Colors Screen Awards for 2011 were Ranbir Kapoor who won the Best Actor award, Vidya Balan (as expected) walked away with the Best Actress trophy. Best Film award was shared between The Dirty Picture and Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara.

The awards show which was hosted by Shahrukh Khan, Shahid Kapoor and Sajid Khan, also witnessed SRK win the Best actor award (by audience voting). Surprisingly, Deepika Padukone was the audience choice for Best Actress.

Other big winners were – Milan Luthria won the Best Director award, A R Rahman in the Best Music category for Rockstar. Full list below

Aarakshan won the Ramnath Goenka Memorial Award and the Lifetime achievement award was given singer Asha Bhosle.

  • quite fair awards with some hiccups. i dont understand best lyrics ‘acha lagta hai’ i think something similar was written in ‘Kuch na kaho’.In my opinion ‘Dildara’ was a well written song n Ranbir deserved his award very much. At such a juvenile acting career he gave a strong performance amazing..Hats off.

  • salman shoulg have gotten the award for best actor popular choice. Screen awards have always favoured Sharukukh and Priyanka. Screen awards are fake awards
