Mumbai: There has already been a lot of hullabaloo that Shahrukh Khan starrer Jab Tak Hai Jaan poster is copied from 2011 French war adventure Special Forces. The second thing that comes into light is the Challa song from the film, which is stirring quite a buzz around these days.
Apparently, the song is an inspiration from Swedish musician Eagle Eye Cherry’s chartbuster number Save Tonight.
Challa is composed by ace music composer A R Rahman, on that note it is difficult to believe that it can be copied. However, the number sounds very similar to the 1997 hit, specially the guitar played in the beginning. Sung by Rabbi Shergill, the only refreshing thing about the musical is singer’s voice.
Film Jab Tak Hai Jaan marks veteran filmmaker Yash Chopra’s comeback to the industry after eight years. At the same time, the movie is also Chopra’s last directorial, so ideally, the flick shouldn’t have gained such negative popularity in the very beginning of its promotions. All we can do is just hope that the film’s story too does not turn out to be a copy from an old hit.
Apart from Shahrukh, the film stars Katrina Kaif in lead and Anushka Sharma in an extended cameo. The film will hit the theatres on November 13.
