Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh’s Messenger of God (MSG) has been banned by the Central Board of Film Certification.
Scheduled to release in theatres this year, Messenger of God was denied certification after committee members took exception to Ram Rahim Singh, depicting himself as god in the film.
The movie stars controversial Dera chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh, who is facing cases of sexual abuse and murder.
“It is highly controversial and can hurt sentiments of people, though in terms of graphics it is an amazing movie,” said board member Nandini Sardesai. “If a Batman or a Superman had done these stunts, we would have appreciated it, but he is a public figure and we cannot clear this move, so referring it to a tribunal.”
However, the spokesperson for MSG has strongly condemned the argument saying that the promo of the film clearly shows the Godman mentioning that he is a normal human being. Further, to support his stance, the makers have claimed that Guruji has done what other actors do in a film i.e. fighting the evils of the society.
The Censor Board ban on Messenger Of God, could reignite the PK controversy as Hindu organisations were pushing for a ban on the Aamir Khan starrer as it supposedly hurt their religious sentiments.

Not just rape and murder, he is also accused of forced castration. He allegedly castrated more than 100 men claiming “castration will lead to God” And when asked to come to court to defend himself he took many leaves claiming he is unwell. And he has time to shoot a film on himself where he poses as God.
And there are people who defend him and claim “He is a HINDU saint!” As a Hindu, I slam this man for repeatedly humiliating my religion. Disgusting!

I dont know that many aware about him or not. 7 year before when I was living in Delhi.Two friends of mine belong to Haryana.One from Sirsa and other from zind.Dera Sachcha Soda started from Sirsa and Ram Rahim Singh also lived there, don’t know that even today he lived there or his other branches.My friend from zind, his whole family was believer if this man and my friend from sirsa always making fun of him as he is living just behind the dera sachcha sauda.When I went sirsa for his marriage we had seen how people believe him blindly but my friend always talk about his condemn. He is a rapist,murderer,dhongi.He has done probably all kind of sins.
Sometime in 2008 there were constant cases were filed against HK. That makes my friends family to untrust him.
I have seen how blind people follows these culprits blindly.That’s why I am always support any movie which exposed people like him whether its omg or pk.Don’t know about content of this movie but I seriously don’t want to see these people to fool public.

@Virat Kohli i think you dont know this but in many rural areas,there is no use of condoms in prostitution as many dont use them and i know a lot of people who have not used it with prostitutes in rural areas so there was nothing wrong with the film
