The first look of the one most awaited films of the year “Brothers” is out. Brother’s is an official remake of the 2011 American Sports Drama “Warrior” which was directed by Gavin O’ Connor. It tells the story of two estranged brothers entering a mixed martial arts tournament (MMA) and deals with the brother’s struggling relationship with each other and their father.
The film stars Akshay Kumar , Sidharth Malhotra, Jacqueline Fernandes and Jackie Shroff in key roles. Produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions in association with Endemol it also marks Akshay first film for Dharma Productions. The film is directed by Karan Malhotra who previously directed the remake of “Agneepath”. The film releases on 14th August,2015 and will enjoy the benefit of the independence day holiday.
First look Analysis
True to the theme of the film, the first look showcases the two brothers and the underlying tension between them and their estranged relationship. From the looks of it, this film seems to cater to both the multiplex and single screen audience. A complete commercial entertainer in the offering.

Surprising to see brothers poster before Main Gabbar. Main Gabbar release date is 1May 2015, dont you @indicine think its high time they should start promotion campaign. I mean less than 50 days are left and not even poster is relased. I see apotential superhit in Main Gabbar . Dont know what goes in akki’s mind.
I dont want Gabbar to face the same fate what BABY faced due to low key promotion. It should be promoted like Rowdy Rathore as they did in .past

@Zain, Varun is comparable to Ranbir and Ranveer. Siddharth and Arjun are not there yet, they have to improve their acting skills, Siddharth’s selection of script is good, though.
