Box Office: Shirin Farhad Ki Toh Nikal Padi

The Ek Tha Tiger wave is still strong all over the country and that has affected the opening of this week’s release Shirin Farhad Ki Toh Nikal Padi starring Boman Irani and Farah Khan.

At smaller centres the collections were extremely low, while bigger cities like Bangalore, Mumbai and Delhi had occupancy of 35% for the noon shows.

Having said that, most of the smaller films that have done well this year, have managed to collect 40 crore+ with a similar (or even lower) opening.

If Bela Sehgal’s ‘Shirin Farhad..’ is liked and the word-of-mouth is strong, it’s likely to pick up for the night shows. Sunday will be crucial and should decide it’s fate at the box office.
