Every Salman Khan film in recent times not only managed to break into the 100 cr club, but literally smashed every record to make it to the Top 10 list of fastest films to 100.
Dabangg was the first film to cross 100 in 10 days, Bodyguard was the first to do so in a week (7 days) and Ek Tha Tiger managed to do the unthinkable – crossing the milestone in its first extended weekend (Wed – Sun).
When each of his films have been so successful over the last few years, the trade had unrealistically high expectations from Jai Ho. While the film has disappointed at the box office, it has still managed to cross the 100 cr mark in less than 10 days – faster than films like Agneepath, Rowdy Rathore, Jab Tak Hai Haan and Ram Leela.

@babaji surprising to see your list as you not mentioned Barfi, for me it is one of most deserving and surprise entry in that club. @sss no idiots Ce had 6 open day including 3 holiday and 1 semi holiday collected 137cr and if we include pp than 144cr while D3 collected 162 cr in 6 days with 1 holiday that is sunday. Before you get confuse as having little sense i included 15th aug collection in that list which was 7th day of ce and similarly removed 6th day collection of d3 of 6th day i.e. Critsmas of 25.52cr, still see the gap of net 25cr. Surprisngly biggest brand of bollywood not able to compete combo of Dhoom brand and flop actor Aamir according to you. So sad despite being 3 holiday,hiked ticket rates, Rajni sir song,3700 screens,and length of 140 min as compare to 4500 screen,flop Aamir,flop director,dhoom brand,poor music and length of 172 min. So sorry. Just because your health concern i not included overseas collection. i don’t find ce a winner in anyway according to your theory.
Paglapurians, grow up!! How lowly you guys can be? When you talk about the collections of the Paglapur’s Thakurs’ films, you guys pick up and show the collections according Producers’ or Komal Nahta etc. But when it comes to Salman’s or other actors’ films, you guys don’t even believe Indicine’s. You simply show the figures according to BOI. Blantant Double Standard! Shame on you guys!

I can’t even imagine how luntatic some people are to say that Jai Ho didn’t beat the collection of Agneepath, Barfi, Ra.One etc etc. First of all, Jai Ho hasn’t fisnished its run yet. Secondly, Did Agneepath, Barfi, Ra.One etc beat the collection of Ready? Why do they like to single out only a film?
Some questions to the people trying to drag down the business of Jai Ho,
Even when Jai Ho flops (which won’t happen now), who will be affected badly?
1) The producers of Jai Ho have already made a fat profit.
2) Salman’s Stardom will no way be affected by this. When Ra.One was proven to be a debacle, did SRK’s stardom fall to the level of Bobby Deol, Nahin Na? Because they are established stars.
3) It won’t also be a fact that the distributors will pay less amount for his upcoming films. And you know the reason.
Hence, why are trying to make the distributors and the exhibitors (that earn their livelihood by that means) face their end in red? What have they done to you? Ask yourself!
Besides, it’s time for SRK Fans stopped deliberately bashing Salman Khan now. Suhana Khan is a Salman Khan fan. Because of her constant emphasising, SRK family watched Salman’s last two films (Dabangg 2 and Jai Ho) in their home. What do you say now, SRKians?? Suhana is a brat????
