The promotional campaign of Bombay Velvet has well and truly begun. While the trailer, which was released earlier today, has received mixed response, the makers of the film have released a few new posters and promotional stills.
Ranbir seems to have delivered yet another outstanding performance, Anushka looked beautiful and Karan Johar – who makes his acting debut in a full-fledged role – is playing a negative character.
Ranbir plays Johnny Balraj, a boxer and street-fighter. Anushka Sharma is Rosie Noronha, a Jazz Singer and Karan Johar plays the role of Kaizad Khambatta, a flamboyant, quick-witted, Parsi media mogul with a high-end attitude. Kay Kay Menon is a investigative officer in the film.
Directed by Anurag Kashyap, Bombay Velvet releases in theatres on May 15 2015.

I didn’t liked the trailer a bit, didn’t impressed with Ranbir,Anu,Karan.
I didn’t have any expectation since it announced but I didn’t knew Anurag Kashyap will come up a routine looking plot in his first commercial film (as the trailer looks). I am seriously concern for Ranbir kapoor he is a brilliant actor with certain limitations but his career is taking dip since Besharam,no release in 2013 and now Roy and BV also looking a failure for him.Other thing he is unnecessary had been targeting by his haters on social platform.I hope with Jagaa Jasoos and Tamasha he will be back as a supreme position.

In 2nd poster,rk is looking fiid.but believe he is looking like a joker,I mean he acted same like he did in barfi,lil similar.but guyz,come on have your faith on Anuragji,the film has to be superb just like the trailer.represents TRUE CLASS.
KJO sir is looking awesome.I will watch this movie for Anuragji and KJO SUR.look at the dialogue delivery of KJO sir,speaking like Dabang and his expressions also like that.I mean how can HE acted one can act so beautifully even though untrained.while some trained actor also couldn’t learn acting even after 25 years and called non actor,lol.
Mr Ranbir Kapoor is not a good actor unlike in Barfi where he was good . But Ranbir mostly overacts . Hrithik is so much better than him .

Majority of the art cinema directors and lovers THINK they know everything. They call the entertainers like Dabangg or CE third rate and act as if it is very simple to make films like that and get good collections.
But the real fact is that they are EPIC failures in that department. They just don’t know how to make a decent entertainer. They go too much in to the nitty gritties because their daily intake is some classic hollywood movies. They think, just by watching some hollywood classics, talking and keeping a collections of it, they are somehow great.
Looking at the poster – as given in DNA – heavily inspired from the brilliant hollywood classic – Gone With The Wind. The trailer and the look of the movie is nothing but completely ripped from the early 60s movies of Hollywood again.
They say they don’t remake, and camouflage it with a more appropriate word “INSPIRED” to hide their inefficiencies to make something REAL on their own.
But, they are nothing but similar to the guys who make cut-copy-and-paste remakes of other films. Only difference is that the guys like Prabhu Deva or others who make such cut-and-paste movies are NOT ASHAMED to accept it that it is a copy. But, our “BRILLIANT” “INTELLIGENT” directors of the so called intelligent cinemas are such big hypocrites that they would never accept it.
The trailer and posters are A BIG DULL. The only positive is Ranbir Kapoor, who will use his stardom to a decent collections, and Anushka too is a rising star. Together they will ensure the movie is decent with some good performance. Otherwise, i do not expect any greatness from these INTELLIGENT directors and their team of intelligent wannabes.
