Ashok Ahuja (Percept Picture Company) – It was hard to choose between Ghajini and Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi. Both the films rocked (at the box office). Hrithik is number 2, Akshay is number 3 and Salman is at number 4. The kind of excitement generated by Three Idiots, My Name Is Khan and Kites is palpable even though their release dates are yet to be set; the euphoria associated with Aamir, Shah Rukh and Hrithik is very high.
Amod Mehra (Trade consultant) – Aamir is a clear number 1 because each of his films in the last five years has been different. Shah Rukh is a close second, Hrithik is third, Akshay is fourth and Salman stands at the fifth position. However, a hit or two here and there and these positions could easily change
Komal Nahtha (Trade Analyst) – Bollywood depends a lot on these five men because they have a fairly high success ratio. You have to go by aggregates; individual films may run or flop, but these men net good averages. Akshay leads the pack with his earnings by virtue of the fact that he has done the maximum number of films. Aamir and Shah Rukh are neck to neck at number 1 and Hrithik and Akshay share the number 2 spot. Salman currently occupies a solo place at number three because he hasn’t had a spectacular release after Partner.

In mypoint of veiw The No1 posistion well goes to my Fantastic and rocking star SRK. And 2nd position well goes to Salaman Khan. And 3rd position goes to aamir Khan.And Hirthik and Akshay are the last. This is the correct way. Why because by seeing all the comments. 3 SALMAN has given 7 hits which include maine pyar kyu kiya, garv, mujse shaadi karogi, no entry, lucky, partner, wanted & has 6 flops which include salaame ishq, kyunki, jaaneman, gtgh, yuvraaj, main aurr mrs khanna. You cant include movies like Heroes, Hello, Saawariya, & Baabul as his flops in which he has done special app. If you want to include these as salman khan flops then movies like KRAZZY4, BHOOTHNATH are SRK flops.

AMIR KHAN- Ghajni is the highest grosser, despite the action scenes, which wr nt at all lookin natural…was liked by everone..b it multiplex goers, or single screen audiences….its da stardom of the acor..yeah love angle n Asin wr good 2 i da movie..but if it’s highest grosser..it’ all due to Amir Khan, who happens to b a great actor too….
SALMAN KHAN- His stardom has nothing to do wid hits n flops, he doesn’t need a big banner to mk a movie hit..if da movie is good..he’ll mk it a big hit 4 sure…I admire his acting skills too…..A TRUE SUPER STAR..

more movies you do more RISK you take. if more movies flop means more lose means less revenue means you r at the bottom. if you do 17 movies a year that means you are doing atleast 10 different roles means your catering to atleast 5 types of different audience section. in whole you are covering movie audiences from all sections and types.
means.. your have no space between movies and you need a GREAT reason to pull audience to the cinemas means you have less appeal means audiences will not wait for yur movies as much they will wait for others.
so all in all. more movies you do keeps you at more risk. but if you do few movies and your among top actors yur movie is sure to earn gud revenue or say big revenue. if you do more movies yur movies will make less money cuz yur next movie arrives after quick interval.
makes sense, y akshay’s movies have taken sky high opening and are disappearing after two weeks???
cuz hez having less and less repeat value.
plus, Critics and media who is always busy pulling the actor down.

attention guys, the king of bolywood is “AKKI” he is a fully entertainer for all kinds of audience.
I believe the real stars are Akshay Kumar and Shahrukh Khan who came up on their own in Bollywood Industry , which is almost impossible today. No doubt actors like Aamir , Hrithik and Salman made a hell good use of the chance given to them . Yes Salman Khan has a mind blowing personality but if talking in terms of actor i rate him 5. Hrithik Roshan has good dance moves he is one of the best dancer in India and has good toned body , but if we go in terms of acting he lags behind others. I rank him no.4 . Then follows Aamir , the fact i consider him less than Shahrukh and Akki is that he only takes assignments by big banners and when he is sure of a hit. Like Ghajini which was already a blockbuster in south. Then comes SRK mind blowing in most of the part of acting , but fails to get a bond kind factor , looks poor in action roles. According to me Akki stands high with capability of doing daring stunts and suiting in almost all roles. He made brands out of normal directors , even without working with Karan YRaj he got hits. The only main stream actor to get award for Best comedian. He suits in all roles and that is why he is given most number of films he does it.Believe me no one can do 5 films a year and that too which requires hard work like in cc2c and KI. He will rule next year with comedy films coming up. It will shut everyone’s mouth. Akki rocks So
