Hours after Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the nation and announced that the government was invalidating Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes, the film industry united in praising the PM and the government for the war against black money and corruption.

But something is baffling here –
Ban on 500 and 1000 rupee notes are truly justified as they were used by corrupt politicians/officers and anti-social elements, but what is the logic behind the promulgation of new 500 and 2000 notes. Won’t it accelerate the corruption?
However, if Government has prepared a long term plan , then we will have to wait and see how these moves trend in long run.

Who will be the actual beneficiaries of this move?
It’s ultimately the common people of our country. By December 31, “Most of” the undeclared income will either be submitted into the government treasury or they will be declared invalid. This will not only help recovering the black money, but it will also expel the counterfeit notes (which I believe accounts in billions) within a jiffy.
So long term effects of this move are going to be unprecedented.
Once you had mentioned that you belong to a rural area. So instead of believing in rumors I request you to visit the innocent villagers and educate them about the benefits of this move.
