- Christmas – Tiger Zinda Hai (Salman Khan, Ali Abbas Zafar), Rani Padmavati (Sanjay Leela Bhansali film – unconfirmed cast Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor)
2018:
- Eid – Pending (Not announced, Salman will have a release)
- Diwali – Thugs of Hindostan (Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan, Vijay Krishna Acharya)
- Christmas – Untitled film (Shah Rukh Khan, Aanand L Rai)

Akshay is non holiday king. He will be the 2nd biggest superstar of bollywood after 2017 END. That’s my believe.

Good that ajay is booking festivals now, he may have never got solo festival and even in 2017 someone will come to clash,but that’s OK Atleast it will give confidence to other young or least popular stars to book festivals…!

@indicine why did you put Amitabh bachchan’s name befire the numero uno megastar Aamir khan? Where does Amit ji stand today? He is old and his time is over way long back. Its aamir’s movie and whatever TOH will earn, all credits will go to Aamir. We all saw wajir,shamitabh, aarakshan, satyagrah and many other Amit ji’s recent movies’ fate. Aamir on the other hand is ruling box office like no one and he is the biggest megastar of bollywood. Shame on you. Put aamir’s name before Amit ji.

We Akkians never cry for festivals as our star doesn’t need it.I know that he doesn’t have big 150 – 200cr grossers and he even doesn’t need that since his movies earns almost that kind of amount on non festivals easily (leaving some of them which had very mixed or negative WOM).And u loggerhead if u blame him for low grossers than tell me how much FAN earned,how much Jai Ho earned,Ok leaving all of these than tell me how MJD earned.All of them on non EDX date

2017 will be an amaizing year,considering all big stars have huge films coming,who will have HGOYT? Reminds me of 2012 when Salman also had 2 releases and both of then ended up being 1 and 2 HGOTY.

People fight over festive release dates. Salman doesn’t need to do it. He will just come and announce his films, others will back out. Simple.
Raees was announced first for Eid 2016. But Salman came and seized the period from the so-called festive period. That’s called Big Daddy.
Eid 2018 period is unconfirmed yet. Yet nobody dares to announce film during the period.
If anybody does announce a film for it, something like 2016 Eid will occur again.
Because it is understood that Eid belongs to Salman by default.
As of now, Padmavati is up against TZH. But I do believe SLB will back out as SLB is intelligent enough to understand that it is Salman whom he will clash against and is NO SRK.
Even if SLB clash, we won’t bash him and his stars of Padmavati. We will happy to clash with it and with a result of 200Crores for TZH.
