Aamir Khan and Rajkumar Hirani’s PK has swept most of the box office awards for 2014. Shahrukh Khan’s Happy New Year gave the industry its biggest first day, single day and first weekend. Arjun Kapoor and Alia Bhatt were the biggest ‘young’ crowd-pullers of 2014.
Temporary Box office laurels or passing the test of time?
Well emraan hashmi films have successfully managed to pass the test of time.
Whatever maybe the verdict of awarapan acc to boi(visited by few) ,jannat,zeher,kalyug n many more films, people n media have made it memorable bb.
After few years , people forget the collections of a film,people remember content .

Hny will retain the best opening day collection as per producers figure till the bajrangi bhaijaan or prdp and may be srk-rohit next.But I think its weekend record will shatter by bajrangi bhaijaan if it release on holiday weekend like hny released.
While as per trade d3 hold the weekend record all India and pk gross the highest single day on its 3rd day.
But all important is all eyes on which movie break the pk lifetime in coming time.

Salman could not be cast in PK, role required simeone who could actually act.
All awards seem fair- my only contentios one was the last one- I think Divya Kumar should have bagged that award instead of Sajid Sir…. Yaariyan was not a bad effort considering she debuted as a director and had a fairly young fresh cast- she got the best out of that film so huge respexXx. Sajid had bhai so he was always gonna get a hit plus the Eid period but thats my personal choice but great list Indicine.

That may happen only the day when papa Boney makes a sequel to Mr India and spends a lavish 200cr on it but foolishly casts Arjun in Anils role and not in Amrish’s role for which he is tailor made for- film will BOMB at the BO- earn around 60cr-70cr thus incurring losses of around 130cr…. Thats the only time Arjuns name will belong in a sentence with 130cr… Comprehend that you loser.
