Madhur Bhandarkar’s ‘CORPORATE’ continues to win praises for itself even after one year of its release. The movie’s leading lady was played by Bipasha Basu, for which she won the Best Actress Award of 2007.
At the recently concluded Bollywood Movie Awards 2007 at Nassau Coliseum, Long Island, New York, Bipasha Basu was handed over the Best Actress award for her superb performance in CORPORATE.
The event was graced by around 10,000 fans from across the United States, Canada and even the Caribbean.
On contacted, Madhur Bhandarkar said, “I have always stood by the fact that given the right opportunity, Bipasha Basu has ton loads of talent waiting to be explored. Yet another award for her proves it again. There were many who were apprehensive when I cast her in the role of a corporate woman and I couldn’t help but get amused. Of course, the recognition Bipasha is getting world over justifies the confidence that I had in her. I am very happy for her.”
