Bigg Boss 6, the biggest television reality show returns, promising more entertainment (and controversies) than ever before. There was immense curiosity around the 15 contestants, who will be locked inside the house Bigg Boss 6 house for the next 3 months.
With Bollywood superstar Salman Khan as the host, the first episode of Bigg Boss 6 will be aired today (October 7th) at 9PM Indian Standard Time on COLORS.

- Delnaz Paul (Television actress, who has also acted in Bollywood films with Salman Khan, Shahrukh Khan)
- Rajeev Paul (Television actor and contestant Delnaz Paul’s ex-husband)
- Sayantani Ghosh (actor)
- Karishma Kotak (model)
- Niketan Madhok (model)
The 15th Bigg Boss 6 contestant will be a non-celebrity. His/her identity is yet to be revealed.

Yes i remember zor ka jhatka which got the highest trp ndtv imagine ever have. Srk shot the entire episodes in only 10 days and got 55 crore for that. Which bigger than sallu yearly income? Fact is fact. And it better than last year adult show bigboss5 which got lower trp than shilpa shetty show.

No one can deny his star power on the big screen. But even as Salman Khan returns for the third consecutive season of Big Boss today, we hear that his pay packet for the small screen too has gone up significantly.
After taking home 2.8-3 crore will pocket a cool 3.8 to 4 crore per episode this time around. The earlier season had been Sanjay Dutt play co-host as Salman was either busy shooting for Ek Tha Tiger or coping with his illness. This time, however, the star will be present from the start to finish and is being paid big bucks for this commitment.
Incidentally, this also makes Salman the highest-paid Bollywood actor on the tube, followed by Amir Khan (Satyamev Jayate, 3 crore per episode), Shah Rukh Khan (Total Wipeout: Zor Ka Jhatka, 4 crore per episode), Hrithik Roshan (Just Dance, 4 crore per episode), and Akshay Kumar (Khatron Ke Khiladi season four, 1.5 crore per episode).

@sandy y2j. Yes i agree that “zor ka jhatka” was the greatest reality show ever made on indian television. It holds a great record which is unbroken till now and which may not be broken at all. Zor ka jhatka got an average trp ratings of “0.64” and for record this is the lowest and worst trp rating in indian television history and even ‘Rakhi ka swayamvar’ had average trp ratings of 2.1!!
