Ranbir Kapoor’s Besharam has crashed to an all-time low in its second weekend at the box office. The collections were so bad on its second Friday that this week’s War Chhod Na Yaar which released on around 700 screens had around 30% better collections in Mumbai circuit.
On its 10th day after release, Besharam has collected less than 1 crore at the domestic box office. No other film featuring a top star has dropped to such lows so soon in recent times.
The film has collected around 53 crores in 10 days, but will struggle to cross the 60 crore mark. Besharam should finish with lifetime business of 58-59 crore.

only Salman.akshay and ajay delivered disasters in bollywood history….now new entry to that league….and he is Ranbir Kapoor….i hope Ranbir will do better movies from nowonwards unlike south copy paste masala remake khan salman etc…..
Hits and flop are part of stars life sometime good movies fails sometimes bad movies worked, the problem with Besharam is it’s very old fashion directions, get ups, story and very unusual star cast, I think, Pallavi is reasonable attractive but the chemistry between RK and her was zero. She could be better pairing with Irfan Khan, Arshad Warsi or Farhan Akhtar.
But the overall presentation of movie was not interested at all, in this fast world, with, iPhones, iPads and online life, this movie should have worked if it releases 20 years back. Talking about Krissh 3, I think even people dislike the movie but it will recover the money and it won’t be as bad as Besharam because it is realising on right time during Festival period when we have a cultural of watching movies. It is a animation of this latest technologies game type of fights, XBOX games etc, young generation spend lots of money in this type of amusement and of, course they don’t mind to pay Rs 250, to see the fight when we know the Hero is Hritik Roshan.
