Viacom 18’s Drishyam and Excel Entertainment’s Bangistan are scheduled to release in theatres next week. But Actor Riteish Deshmukh has said that the makers of both films are unaffected by the clash.
“There are only 52 weeks in a year and about 200 films release every year. And according to this, four films should release every week. We’re lucky that only two films are coming. We are getting enough screen space, they (filmmakers) are getting the required screen space, so both are happy releasing it. I’m sure that both are wonderful films” Riteish said.
With Salman Khan’s ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ sustaining well at the box office, the two July 31 releases will also be competing against the Kabir Khan directed film.
Apart from Riteish, Bangistan also stars Pulkit Samrat and Jacqueline Fernandez (special appearance). Drishyam features Ajay Devgn, Shriya Saran and Tabu in the lead.
