On May 25th, 2007 Cheeni Kum and Shootout At Lokhandwala hit the screens and today these well made films are completing 50 days of screening. Inspite of an average opening, the collections of Balki’s film starring Amitabh Bachchan and Tabu, picked up. On the other hand Shootout At Lokhandwala is a certified Box Office hit, not just due to of its fantastic start but the good business that it did over the last few weeks.
Incidentally even SOAL has Big B in a small but important role. This makes it a double whammy for the 60+ actor who would next be seen in the Sholay remake, tentatively titled RAM GOPAL VERMA KI AAG. Bachchan will be enacting the role of Gabbar Singh.
