Bajrangi Bhaijaan Total Box Office Collections and Verdict

Before the release of ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’, director Kabir Khan had said that he would be mighty pleased if the film is still running in theatres when ‘Phantom’ releases. However, even he wouldn’t have expected the kind of response that the Salman Khan starrer received in the last two months.

The film went on to plunder box office records and eventually became one of the biggest blockbusters in the history of Indian Cinema. The second most watched film this millennium after ‘Gadar – Ek Prem Katha’ and the second highest grosser of all time after ‘PK’.

‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ has also become the highest overseas grosser in Phase 1 of its release, something that has shocked and surprised the trade, as Salman’s previous highest grosser was Kick, which collected Rs 70 crore overseas. ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ has nearly tripled that.

The film is the 2nd highest grosser of all time, only behind Aamir Khan’s PK, but that could change once  it releases in other countries overseas.

Check out the day-wise collections of Bajrangi Bhaijaan. We have also included total collections from India, overseas, India gross (collections + entertainment tax) and worldwide gross (India gross + Overseas gross).

No prizes for guessing the verdict of ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’. All Time Blockbuster in India, as well as the overseas markets. The success of the film has also increased the buzz around his next release ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’. Salman has recently said that he does carry the pressure of delivering a bigger grosser (and beating his previous film) with each new release.

  • After doing a classic film like Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Salmanbhai has gone back to that stupid and shitty show Bigg Boss 9.
    Why Bhai Why ????
U could have let people like Sajid Khan-Farah Khan- Shirish Kunder to host that disgraceful show.

  • If PRDP carries good message and screenplay then it’s gonna break All time Records by a huge margin. Mark my Words?

  • fake figures. it collected only 55 crs. trying to fool public. salman hasnt crossed 100 cr yet. he is 40 cr club actor.

  • dilwale disaster .double couple in one film.what does srk scared of. he’s always finding 100cr stars just to make high figure at box office.0nly varun and kriti could make 150cr movie. even kajol 100cr.what of him. shame to ur kingkong.if dilwale collect 450cr which is impossible remember the film supposed to be disaster.

it happened same in flop HNY srk,dp.big actor and biggest actress but flop.

and again in c.depressed making hit.
    srk scared of his career.

  • Very well deserved. I am very happy that Salman khan is now doing great in overseas as well. Proud of the success. Movie was great. Salman’s performance also was superb. The movie was also a welcome change from Salman khan after many masala movies and finally a great quality movie. I hope it continues to do well in overseas in its second phase as well. ..!

  • BB’s overseas collection is more than over-promoted crappy hny’s domestic trade collection! If I were a srk fan I would have hanged myself or would have set myself on fire not able to bear the epic humiliation & embarrassment, srk fans kuch tho sharam karo :D :D

  • @bromance chaddiwala faan
yes,if SRKAY was in BB Then he wil buy filmfake,NA and even oscar and it wil also beat pk by manipulation

  • Now some haters (srk & akki fans) will come and bark on this page trying to take away credit from Salman. Everyone associated with BB deserve this success. Salman stardom took it to another level. It is time to party and enjoy. Haters will keep crying !!!!!!!!!!!

  • Amazing..collection i cant beleieve that bb earn 600 cr..!! But i am sure prdp will create new record ..!! My prediction mininmum 280 maximum 340 with clash …!!

  • If SRKAY was in BB/pk then it wil nt collect more than 250cr in india and 500ww becoz of Shahcook’s shit like overacting

  • Biggest sl@p on @sss @I am AKN, @Phenom, @fan pk, @nipun, @Babaji ka thullu, @Iam Srkian, @sweet heart, @Funny chachi, @Bhai ka bhai and all Salman haters !!!!!!!!!!

  • Year 2016 will be the year of clashes…..
    Eid sultan vs raees….
    ID weekend
    Rustom vs Mohanjodaro…..
    Diwali
Shivaay vs Ae dil hai mushkil….

  • Congratulations Team BB.Well deserved. Haters can give the credits to whoever they want but deep down even they know Salman Khan is the biggest megastar ever in Bollywood history.

  • Can’t explain how much I love the sentence “BB is the second most watched film this millennium after Gadar”…!!!

  • Birthday Surprise:
    Akshay Kumar to
    collaborate with
    Neeraj Pandey for a
    romantic thriller
titled Rustom will release on 12 Aug 2016 so akkians get ready best duo of Bollywood .

  • @sss:

Shame on global nautanki queen for his inability to give a highest grosser of the year since 8years. Using k3 calculator to cross even 100cr mark (jthj). Needing Deepika+multistarcast to give just a hit. Playing Varun’s mom’s sorry papa’s character in upcoming Dilwale…. Lol.

  • No.1 SRK ..45 cr opening
    No.2 amir ..36 cr opening
    No.3 salman ..32 cr opening .

Logic of salman’s fan @Tiger of rankings …
SRK , amir r megastars nd salman only superstar eid wala .
Amir rocked in andaz apna apna nd Sallu was in supporting role .

  • Bhai has given top 2 highest grossers of the year THREE times, maximum ever for any Bollywood star….

    1. 1999- HSSH & biwi no 1.

    2. 2011- Bodyguard & Ready.

    3. 2012- ETT & Dabang 2.

I am sure the number will increase to FOUR after the end of the year with BB & PRDP…

  • Now wait and see ,bb was just like a trailer, the big epic film prdp is coming to shatter all records and will make a milestone records just about #63daystogo .

  • Bajrangi Bhaijaan is still being theatred TGV Cinemas in Malaysia. The longest running movie since 3 Idiots!
Brothers -theatred for only one Week
Now, WB is also running successfully.

  • bhojpuritards, party is going to end after prdp for almost year, this party will be the last which you can enjoy the most.ha ha ha ha our bhojpiri bhabijaan struggled many year to cross CE’S WW.now prdp is again will chase CE’S WW for sure.

bhojpiri salman, remember you shouldn’t forget to say thanks to Harshali, kabir bhaijaan.because bb is your biggest ww of this decade and you’ll chase CE’WW for many years from now onwards.and also remember you’re a local star.your aukat will always remain like that,KING KHAN’S NAME is enough to bring audience into theatre may in DOMESTIC +OVERSEAS while you can’t do the same with out multistarrer+best directors+masala genre.so always remind WHO IS YOUR BAAP—-THE KING OF BOLLYWOOD SRK.
