PK is currently the highest grosser in all circuits. Dhoom 3 is the 2nd highest grosser in all circuits, except Mumbai where 3 Idiots takes the second spot. PK and Dhoom 3 are the 1st and 2nd highest grossers of all time.

Which territory is Bajrangi Bhaijaan expected to set all time records? Find out:

  • Mumbai: Territory record will be touch as go, as the film has to collect more than 30 crore to beat PK. The circuit is contributing around 32% to the total, so the film has to collect about 100 crore more on all-India level to set record in this circuit.
  • Delhi/UP: Bajrangi Bhaijaan will become the all time highest grosser in the territory.
  • East Punjab: Contribution from this circuit has been a little more than 10%. So, it should go on to be all time grosser in East Punjab too, beating PK.
  • Rajasthan: Has a chance, but record grosser in this circuit will be difficult.
  • C.P and C.I: Certain to beat Dhoom 3, the second highest grosser in both circuits. Could match PK.
  • Bihar: Will beat PK to become the highest grosser in this circuit.
  • Andhra/Nizam: Bajrangi Bhaijaan has lost atleast 3-4 crore because of ‘Baahubali’. No chance of beating PK. Even Dhoom 3’s 18 crore total will be difficult (including Telugu version).
  • Mysore: PK will remain the highest grosser by a distance.
  • West Bengal: Outside chance of beating PK. Will be the second highest grosser in this circuit, ahead of Dhoom 3.
  • Assam: Will become all time grosser, ahead of PK.
  • Orissa: Has a chance.
  • Tamilnadu/Kerala: Again, ‘Baahubali’ and other films affected business. No chance of breaking PK record.

If Bajrangi Bhaijaan falls short of the 340 crore total of PK, it will be because of circuits like Andhra/Nizam, Tamilnadu/Kerala and Mysore. It’s in these circuits that ‘Baahubali’ has been doing extraordinary business. Even otherwise, ‘Baahubali’ has cost the makers of ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ about 15 crore or more on an all-India level.

  • @imdhakkan u have zero knowledge of Bollywood…harsali was 1st signed for PRDP even started shooting for DAT small role but when kabir signed him in BB which is a mainstream role Salman & sooraj suggested her nt to take part in PRDP as it would b a backstep after doing a mainstream role..

  • @ indicine – i never said
multiplex ticket rate of bb is lower than pk but i said bb released in more single screen thats why overall its average ticket price multipex plus single screen are lower than pk.

  • acording to indicine’s bb vs pk article –
The multiplex ticket prices of both films were about the same, although at select premium multiplexes the tickets of Bajrangi Bhaijaan were more expensive. Bajrangi Bhaijaan has performed much better than PK at single-screens, so the all India average ticket price of the Salman starrer is lower.

    • @Yuvraj, that article was written just after the release of Bajrangi Bhaijaan. The film is now performing better at multiplexes. By the end of its run, average ticket price of BB is likely to be a little higher or about the same level as PK.

  • This is first time after many years that both films are doing well all over india….simply outstanding……
