Bajrangi Bhaijaan Teaser Review and Voting!

The excitement that the teaser of Salman Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan managed to generate was unprecedented. To add to the hype, Shahrukh Khan and Aamir Khan released the first look teaser of the film.

Post release, the response to the short teaser has been quite positive, what with both the audience and the trade appreciating the teaser for what it offers.

The story of Bajrangi Bhaijaan is about a little girl from Pakistan (played by Harshaali Malhotra), who somehow manages to miss a train back to Pakistan and finds herself lost in India. Enter Bajrang Bali’s bhakt (Salman Khan), who makes it his mission to take her back home to Pakistan and reunite her with her parents. In an attempt to attract his fanbase, Salman does his inimitable dance moves from Dabangg. The audience also gets a glimpse of Kareena Kapoor Khan, who plays Salman’s love interest in the film.

The teaser ends with a funny scene from the film. Nawazuddin Siddiqui asks Salman as to how he will find the young girl’s parents. To which Salman says “Bajrang Bali madad karenge na” (Bajrang bali will help us). Nawazuddin asks “Pakistan mein bhi?” (even in Pakistan?).. and the song “Aise hai bhaiyya bajrangi” plays.

What we liked in the Bajrangi Bhaijaan teaser:

  • Salman Khan at his charismatic best. Most people who purchase a ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ ticket during Eid, will come to watch him and his on-screen antics.
  • After impressing the audience in Kick, the Salman – Nawazuddin chemistry promises quite a few entertaining moments in Bajrangi Bhaijaan too.
  • The ‘girl from Pakistan, lost in India, finds a man with a heart’ is an emotional angle that will work big time with the family audience.
  • Surprisingly, the makers haven’t included action sequences in the trailer. Instead, the film promises to promote friendship between the two countries. There is a religious angle too. All of which is quite different from what you expect from a typical action-filled Salman Khan film.

What we didn’t like in the Bajrangi Bhaijaan teaser:

  • The scale and grandeur that you expect from a Salman – Kabir Khan film is missing. The teaser doesn’t blow you away like the trailer of ’Ek Tha Tiger’, which was arguably the trailer that made the biggest impact in recent times, along with the teaser of ‘Bang Bang’. Having said that, this was just a short teaser and scenes shot in Kashmir are likely to be included in the theatrical trailer.
  • Kareena’s appearance in the teaser will be missed if you blink! Does she have any role role at all in a film that’s about a young Pakistani girl lost in India?

As for the rating, we’ll wait for the trailer release!

  • Some Srk fans are frustrated which shows in their comments. Aamir ne overseas maar li aur India mein Salman ke siwa kuch nahi (as per current buzz) Bollywood mein. So Srk fans have nothing left go ga ga over it. This must be toughest times for them !!!!!!! Lol

  • @hrithik first of all you are really an illiterate. srk has been consistently ruling bollywood since the beginning of his debut. you are no one to say who did what to him. wait for diklwaale and you will get the answer. I am not like any other srk fans who try to unnecessarily troll other actors. but you should mind your language. srk is still super strong in both india and overseas. he rules the list with 5 movies in top 10 and many more in top 20. that proves that he is still biggest star overseas. learn to respect someone who has achieved such a huge stardom and popularity. FYI srk with dilwaale will break all records in overseas and india.

  • @hrithik also mind it. there is no toughest time for us. even in bad phase srk still gives hits or super hits. while others gave flops and disasters in their bad phase. so better shut your mouth.

  • akshay brothers trailer is fantastic…nd dn’t cmpare it with bajrangi bhaijaan because it doesn’t deserve…akshay do lots of hardwork..
