Bajrangi Bhaijaan Pakistan Box Office Collections: Takes the country by storm!

Salman Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan has collected around 1.5 crore PKR (Rs 95 lakhs approx) on Eid day, including paid previews on Friday.

The collections are lower than films like Dhoom 3 and Happy New Year, but Bajrangi Bhaijaan was competing against Yasir Nawaz’s ‘Wrong No’ (distributed by ARY films) and Momina Duraid’s ‘Bin Roye’ (distributed by Hum Films).

Inspite of tough competition from local releases, Bajrangi Bhaijaan was the first choice for the Pakistani audience at cinemas, as the film collected more than the two Pakistani films combined. Trade sources in Pakistan say, Bajrangi Bhaijaan also had the highest number of shows this week.

Early reports on Sunday suggest that the film could cross the PKR 3 crore mark today, as the film is running at high occupancies of 90% plus from morning. The weekend business will be somewhere in the PKR 3.75 crore range.

Bajrangi Bhaijaan has also performed equally well at other overseas territories and has emerged as the highest weekend grosser for Salman Khan in just 2 days.

  • I dont have problem that BB is collecting very good numbers. …movie is better than bg ready or even kick…..but seems that everyone in media trying to promote positive this movie….no negative report at all….they r saying it is his highest grosser overseas but which country?
BB opening is very good but footfall of kick was higher…..
But they r showing only rosy picture

  • Leaving aside all the great records that BB has created indicine posts this article just to mention that in Pakistan it has collected less than crappy new year.

Indicine pls post article on people gathering at galaxy in insane numbers to wish bhaijaan for eid. Pics of insane crowds at various theatres etc. Thanks.

  • today I am watching bajrangi bhaijan…this movie is Salman khan life’s best movie …….i hope this movie break record of life time collection …

  • Indicine I am from Karachi and trust me,I did not got the tickets they said to me Bhao next Sunday ko aana

  • @ all Aamir khan haters, listen illiterate fellows, this world is much bigger than this tiny internet platform. Look in the real world and you will see Samir has way more fan following than anyone else in Bollywood. Just because he makes less appearances on awards functions and lime light, you keep blabbering but his records speak the volume. His fans are highly educated, class and well behaved and don’t fight rubbish on internet like the fans of srk and Salman and other actors. So stop nonsense and look at the real world and get out of your tiny fantasy pond because you all are frogs of this small khai who have not seen the real world.

  • INDICINE – I am wondering that, why Nepal’s Box office collection are capturing as an international Box Office collection? Even Nepal’s collection are better then Fiji, NZ & some other International markets?

  • Bajrangi Bhaijaan will collect 100 crore, perhaps 200 crore too because Indian Public is chutiya and these khans make them chutiya

  • @Javed,it’s what you’re going to do fault this is the weakest part of ALL SRKIANS.please bro, don’t watch this.again watch reviews they have said this is salman’s best film(not country’s best film) that too obershadowed by Harshali,Nawaz.bro, don’t forget how they let down OUR CLASSICS like JTHJ,DON2.so stay awake from this crap.

Ha ha still it is behind HNY,and they called it storm,ROFL.

  • Just returned aftr watching movie
    loved it
Housefull show everyone was clapping with wet eyes at the end
    Love from pakistan
    Such a optimistic movie
Pakistan love u Salman Khan :)

  • @Sunny chachi: who stops your superstar!! akki to release his movies on Eid or Deewali??? oh! I forgot he releases a few but the result was always 60cr. E.g- tees mar kha, ouatimd etc.

  • @indicine
But you never mentioned that both D3 and HNY was non holiday and non festive releases .Eid and 2nd day to eid are the biggest holidays from BO perspective…On Eid even lower middle class people go to the cinema. They will watch any movie(preferably bollywood). But on non holidays only particular stars go to cinema.Like this eid I have to go to watch BB because of friends but as PRDP would be a non festive release in Pak so my friends wouldnt be going and so I wouldnt have to watch salman on screens..

  • I am from Pakistan and here the most loved actors are salman, akshay and emraan hashmi! Srk and aamir movies may have collected more in cinema but everyone has dvds and cds of these actor movies, I was in a computer market yesterday and there were people buying cds of jannat which released a very long time ago! Also, since many emraan hashmi films font release here, you do not know how big a star he is here. Also, most of my friends hated doom 3 and only watched due to series and not aamir.

  • @iamBollywoodFan… I am from India and the most popular star here is SRK. Will you believe this?? LOL. There are other people in Pakistan my friend.. Just because you are Salman fan.. you can’t say he is the biggest in Pakistan. Biggest grossers are D3, PK, CE and HNY.. Salman is nowhere in Pakistan

  • Sunny chechi.. Please jump in the nearest river as TWMR crossed lifetime of all the Akki movies in one go..??

  • i already said that they collect more in theatres due to brnd value(D3),director(CE,PK),comedy(HNY,CE,PK)! i dont know anyone who likes these actors, just telling facts. ek tha tiger didnt release here, butall my friends have watched it
