Salman Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan is on a historic run at the box office. The film is set to record the highest Monday collections in the history of Indian Cinema.
As per early estimates, the Monday collections are likely to be in the 23-24 crore, which will take the 4-day total to around Rs 126 crore.
The Monday collections of the film gives Bajrangi Bhaijaan a realistic chance of crossing the Rs 300 crore mark at the domestic box office.
The first week collections of Bajrangi Bhaijaan could now be in the 185 crore range, giving the film a shot at the highest first week collections of all time.
With no film releases next week and extraordinary word-of-mouth, sky is the limit for the film. It could go anywhere from here and if it does well in its second weekend, the film could even challenge the lifetime collections of Aamir Khan’s PK.
It’s also worth mentioning that Bajrangi Bhaijaan has done well inspite of Telegu film Baahubali doing very well in South India. The Hindi version of the film is also performing well at most cities where the SS Rajamouli film has released.
The trade has been waiting for a Salman Khan film to strike a chord with the audience in India and Bajrangi Bhaijaan has exceeded all expectations.
The superstar reigns supreme yet again.

Why are you guys so much obssesed about the collections??? I hope you guys are not getting a single penny from it.Have you atleast got back the money that you’ve spent watching the movie becoz its successful.. I dont care what the collections are, but I do care whether the movie is watchable and enjoyable. Records are meant to be broken, even if BB breaks PK record..there will surely come a time when BB record will be broken again by someone. To hell with the collections you guys are boasting off about… Im spending 300 rupees and I’m always more interested about the content, climax of any film that I’ve watched.

Indeed- indicines sudden turn around in last 5 days has shocked me as theres been too many Bhais articles that its hard to keep pace with them n where one leaves comments and to whom etc etc. So yes indeed credit where its due n this in some small part makes up for the way they reported news about PK in the week leading upto PKs release last December.
A huge second week is assured but to beat PKs lifetime n second week record then BB needs to earn 100cr coz unlike PK BB has to contend with a promising film by Ajay Sir which I for one cant wait to watch. PK had crappy films in its subsequent weeks like nipuns biopic UGLY or gaurav420 chameleons lifestory ALONE etc etc so it earned record numbers in third week which BB may not do so due to a strong looking Drishyam.
