‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ has gone past the lifetime collections of ‘Krrish 3′ to become the 3rd highest grosser of all time. The film is now challenging the records of ’Dhoom 3’ and ‘PK’.
Salman Khan now has 3 films in Top 10, joint best with Aamir Khan who also has three films. In the Top 20, Salman has a record 6 films. Since the release of Dabangg in 2010, all Salman films have crossed the 100 crore mark and all films, except ‘Jai Ho’, have attained ‘Blockbuster’ status.
The ‘Dhoom 3’ record will be broken this coming weekend and ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ will go on to be only the second film to join the ‘300 crore club’.
As for the record for the highest grosser of all time, it’s likely to come down to the response that Ajay Devgn’s ‘Drishyam’ gets and also the kind of growth that ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ can show on its 3rd Saturday and Sunday.

The truth is Aamir and Salman are far more consistent than srk when it comes to give back to back massive blockbusters Nd they should be rightly compared with sachin. While srk’s consistency is similar to yuvraj singh’s consistency of giving 6 back to back sixes which srk does by giving back to back small hits. Sorry even there srk falls pale in comparison.
