Salman Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan has recorded the highest Saturday collections of all time, beating the Saturday collections of Dhoom 3.
It must also be noted that the first Saturday of Dhoom 3 was a working day, while Bajrangi Bhaijaan had the advantage of Eid holiday.
With nearly Rs 64 crore in 2 days, the Salman starrer now has a solid base from where it can grow towards a huge first week total.

I could not believe this is a bollywood movie it was so beautiful movie that I dont want to leave cinema for 10 minutes I dont know why but I felt so satisfied after watching this movie probably first time in my life after any movie what an experience

To all those who are crying about manipulation:-
After the first day of hny boi said 40 crs for hindi version but after few months when pk arrived they suddenly reduced that to 36.5 or 37 crs.. you should ask boi why they reduced. If boi posting 26.5 crs for bb first day then do not cry in future when this 26.5 crs will be reduced to 23 crs as boi has the history of doing these things.. so its better to follow either officials or only trade. Dont sway as per your convenience..

I am a big akki i never thought in my mind i would see abetter film than Baby, but i was wrong BB is on another level. its the best film of the year by the biggest superstar of india.i would love for kabir to direct akshay it may not collect much as akki is going through low phase, but it would surely win hearts.Big expectation now on phantom.

( Ra.1 >> BB )… Poor Bhojpuritards were expecting to beat Hny opening with Bajrangi but failed to beat even CE’s opening , then were expecting to beat Hny highest day on day 2 but failed again badly.. SRK is the BAAP of everyone when it comes to opening, stardom that’s why he has the most no. of opening records in the history of Indian Cinema unlike bhojpuri Bhaijaan who looks like a small insect in front of him here….!!

According to some sources, around three years ago, V. Vijayendra Prasad had narratedBajrangi Bhaijaanto Rakesh Roshan. Roshan apparently loved the film so much that he decided to direct the film casting Hrithik Roshan in the lead role. In fact Rakesh even worked on the script with Prasad. However, there was one hitch that came up in the process. Sources add that V. Vijayendra Prasad wanted to co-produce the film with Rakesh Roshan, but Roshan does not co-produce films with anyone. Later, Hrithiktoo loved the film’s script and Rakesh Roshan apparently offered as much as Rs. 3.25 crores to Prasad to buy off the script from him. Eventually though, the deal didn’t work out between Roshans and Prasad and they scrapped the film.Later however, Prasad narrated the film to Kabir Khan, who then decided to make the film with Salman Khan. The rest as they say is history.
This film collected this much only due to EID.while HNY and d3 collected 30+CR in a non holiday.so what’s the big deal.it’s cleared that bb underperformed.and the actual result of this movie will be known after Sunday when it’ll begin to sink at the box office,lol.
Indicine doesnt even know that the 2nd day after diwali i.e. the second day of hny is also remains partial holiday
33 crore of dhoom on non holiday & 32 crore of HNY on non holiday is better then the 36 crore of BB on EID day
What an accurate figure no manupulation probably this is the only movie in indian history which is exactly same as box office collection otherwise it would easily have crossed 40 plus ..salman what a genuine person. .
Now producer fig is 36.5 and BOI is reporting 35cr…..itne hi haji the tou 1.5 cr ki manipulation kyu?At the end it would have 15-20 cr difference while HNY had a difference of 16 cr at the end.
BOI.co.in is also a trade site and it reported an opening of 42 cr for HNY.but we people have made BOI.com the only trade site which always showed their hate for Srk and HR.
In the end Salman cant break Srk opening records.Salman had good times from 2010-2012(till ETT).
Now afterwards records are not meant to salman.Highest grossers will belong to Amir and opening to SRK.I am now satisfied that salman is still lagging Srk in stardom but good movies will decide the lifetimes of both.There is no comparison of HNY and BB content wise so in long run it will easily beat HNY but the fact is that good content can drive any star after weekend even TWMR did 150crs with not so bumper opening.
Leaving collections aside,I heard BB is good movie.I am going to watch it tomorrow.I was badly wanting to watch Binroye(as I love romantic movies) but my friends(whom I always take with me to watch Srk movies) are interested in BB as one of them is huge action movies fan.So he dont want to watch a romantic movie

It should also be noted that not only Dhoom 3 was non holiday, but also it released in 2013 in lower number of screens.
Extremely happy with the collections because these are real not manipulated. If they did manipulation like hny then collections would have more than 45cr.

Yesterday i watched Bajrangi Bhaijaan.. Its a well intended and a well made film. Credit goes to Kabir Khan. Coming to Performances, Salman was superb as Pavan Chaturvedi no one cud have played that role with such innocence as he did..Before BB i never thought he can act like this… Nawazuddin was in prime form and got each and every detailing of the character absolutely spot on.. But the show stealer was lil girl Harshalli..Watch out for chemistry between her and Salman.
Film has its shares of flaws but it’s a GOOD movie and yes Salman’s best movie since a long long time.
today(sunday) bajrangi bhaijaan will collect at least 40 or above 40 mark my words
@Sweat hert: at time of hny you king fans declared it content driven & kick as crapp. But crap kick collected way more than classie hny. That proved bhai is raja bhoj & king is gangu teli in terms of stardom…lol.
