Baar Baar Dekho has been rejected by the audience, as the film has completely crashed on Sunday. The lowest day of the weekend was Sunday, which suggests that the trend is somewhat similar to ‘Shaandaar’ last year.
While ‘Shaandaar’ went on to touch 40 crore because of the holiday on its opening day, Baar Baar Dekho even with a partial holiday for Bakrid (today) will wrap with lifetime business of around 30 crore.
The problem seems to be the content, which appealed to a very small section of the audience. Unfortunately, the trend has made it quite clear that even the target audience at metro cities has rejected the film.
Baar Baar Dekho is a huge setback for Katrina Kaif. Age is no longer on her side and two back-to-back disasters, including ‘Fitoor’ earlier this year’, could be the beginning of the end for her glorious career. Acting talent or not, during her prime, Katrina was one of the most successful and popular female stars of all time.
For Sidharth Malhotra, it’s a case of two extremes this year. A super successful outing with ‘Kapoor & Sons’ followed by a film that was rejected outright.

Its up to general audience on which movie they want to spend their hard earned money for entertainment.
Movies from Dharma and YRF barring few are craps. Only Salman and Amir can save YRF whereas only Bahubali The Conclusion can save Dharma.

Yes Salman is very very influential in Bollywood but if he had the powers to make or break careers then there had been no big world class failures like sohail and arbaaz sitting in his home,hero would not be a flop movie,the thing is only the Almighty has the power to mould careers,

But I seriously love Srk, he is rare, his intellectuality is extraordinary, he must be an average guy if he didn’t have such extraordinary thought process and that laugh in darr is unique. This is just the trailer. Picture will release on diwali. Mark my words. Now it’s turn for Ae hit hai mushkil. It will face even worse fate than BBD. Because it has out dared aunty who doesn’t have any star power at all, supper flop actor who has given 4 back to back disasters namely besharm, roy, bombay velvet and tamasha, so there is no chance for ae hit hai mushkil to stand against shivaay. Anushka is also lower than kat in terms of stardom and sultan , PK were ATBB because of the 2 biggest megastars of the country not because of her. So overall if ae hit hai mushkil even with solo release would struggle badly then imagine how can it stand in front of spectacular, most hyped movie of the year called shivaay? Not a chance at all boss. So Karam, get ready to face the first disaster of your most overrated career. Ajay will bring you on road. You only deserve that.
Good. I hate rom coms anyways……but this should fuel Sid to look for different movies, and try to work out something better. The cushion of success is now gone, let us see how he face this challenge.
Kat is beautiful and gorgeous, but this is not her peak popularity time, so, it will be interesting to see how she copes with this back to back flops.
Instead of spewing negativity on failures of others, let us watch how these failures will propel this people to come out.
We have all seen Aamir, Akshay, Srk, Salman etc., survive all kind of pitfalls and doing a big come back, so these new guys should also be given a chance to atleast see how they will cope this failures.
Fans of newcomers who pinpoint senior stars for getting holiday releases or big production will soon realise that you don’t get such liberties just like that, you need to rise, fall, rise, fall and yet again rise.
