Filmmaker S.S. Rajamouli said on Sunday that the third part in the “Baahubali” franchise is definitely on cards. However, it won’t be experienced in a way films are regularly viewed.
“‘Baahubali 3’ is on cards. But the story that’s written for the two parts will not be dragged for the sake of it. This story will conclude with the second part itself (sic),” Rajamouli posted on his Twitter page.
He added that “Baahubali 3” will be done in a way that audiences have never experienced via films before.
According to an industry source, Rajamouli is planning a spin-off on “Baahubali”.
“He’s planning to work on a prequel to ‘Baahubali’. It could be a spin-off on the franchise itself,” a source close to the filmmaker told IANS.
Meanwhile, Rajamouli will resume filming “Baahubali 2” from mid-November or early December.
He has already completed 40 percent of shooting of the second part.
The film features Rana Daggubati, Prabhas, Tamannaah Bhatia, Anushka Shetty, Ramya Krishnan and Sathyaraj in important roles.
Hindi film audiences, wake up. Shitty HNY is doing 178 Cr and masterpiece Bahubali is only doing 115 Cr in Hindi. Bahubali 2 should be doing 200 Cr plus in Hindi alone

Watched baahubali yesterday on set max.the visuals at the climax of war sequences was stunning.I liked the visuals.but when the hero(prabhas) was fighting alone with some villains(excluding the war sequences) was too bad and heavily rope was used.
Which is the major drawback I felt and this is the reason why I couldn’t say this is a global movie.and the acting of various actor was very pathetic showing over emotions ,over acting.I know a south Indian director hardly can control vfx and everything but he can’t make the actor to act superb which only a talented actor can do that south Indian actors can’t do.this is the major drawback why baabuhlbali can’t be an exceptional FILM across the world and in India it is only famous because Bollywood till now never tried such type movie.
The climax war sequence too have stolen from many movies like 300,300-2,troy,Kingdom of heaven.and also the anow sequenves too also looking little fake.but still the director managed to show something different at the end,which is quite good.and yeah baahubali is the only rajamouli that I liked many scenes otherwise his a previous movies are nothing but big craps starting from pokiri to magadheera.
And rating of baahubali—-3/5.
And I don’t think so bajirao mastani could shoe at least 1/3 rd of war sequences shown in baahubali.
If Bollywood wants to do any Kingdom related movie then it should be as grand as like Hollywood movies like Lord of the rings,The hobbit or Kingdom Heaven but not as a film like baahubali.
I am a bollewood fan but according to me prabhas and maheshbabu are more handsome than most of the bollewood stars.by the way iam not a south indian
