Srisaila Sri Rajamouli’s magnum opus ‘Baahubali 2’, the second part in the super-popular ‘Baahubali’ series, has finally gone on floors at the Ramoji Film City today.
“After nearly four months of pre-production work including set design and concept art, ‘Baahubali 2’ will finally go on floors today” a source close to the film informed.
The official Twitter handle of the film, confirmed the same.
“Prabhas, Ramya Krishna, and other main cast members will be kick-starting the first schedule today at Ramoji Film City” read the tweet.
Starring Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Tamannaah Bhatia, Satyaraj and Ramya Krishnan, the film is being produced by Arka Media Works.
The second part will reveal why Kattappa killed Baahubali. The director of the film has also confirmed that ‘Baahubali 2’ will be more emotional and the scale will be higher.
The makers are targeting a 2017 release.

As I had stated earlier in Dangal clash article, 70% shooting of Bahubali 2 is still left.
This shooting will go on till August. After that there is a lot of VFX to be done.
It can’t release in Dec 2016.
Also, some of the sources like ZoomTV and south cinema TV channels have reported that Bahubali 2 has shifted to Summer of 2017.
So, it’s good news for all Aamir fans. No clash, which means if WOM is excellent with huge screens, 400 crore is possible. HGOTY is a certain too! Rejoice! ?

Baahubali did a lot of business but still producer ran away when he realised that Aamir’s Dangal waz releasing same day…
