Baaghi Total Box Office Collections, Budget, Verdict

Sajid Nadiadwala’s Baaghi has performed phenomenally well at the domestic box office. It’s the only film in 2016 that has performed well in the core Hindi belt of India, which includes single-screens at mass centres.

Baaghi has given the industry yet another promising young star, but what’s unique for Tiger is his out-and-out action image. His screen-presence and the way he performs his action sequences hold the potential to make him a celebrated mass-hero in the years to come.

Baaghi could finish with lifetime business of 80 – 90 crore or more, depending on how well it performs in its second weekend. This page will be updated at the end of Day 10 and then after the end of the film’s second, third and fourth week.

Some points

  • Baaghi is the highest grosser of Tiger Shroff’s career, beating the collections of his first film ‘Heropanti’ (52.6 crore) in less than a week.
  • Baaghi is the 3rd highest opening week for Shraddha Kapoor, after Ek Villain (75.96 crore) and ABCD 2 (71.78 crore). It’s currently the fourth highest grosser of her career after ABCD 2, Ek Villain and Aashiqui 2.
  • Tiger Shroff currently has a 100% success ratio, as both films were profitable and clean hits at the box office.
  • When it released (April 29 2016), Baaghi registered the 3rd highest opening day of 2016, after FAN and Airlift. The first weekend was only lower than films like FAN, Airlift and The Jungle Book.

  • Sunny Akkiholic. Saif Srk Aamir has no blackbelt they rely on body doubles only.
You must be very sick. Idiot comparing Saif Aamir with Akshay. Tell them to get a black belt then I answer you.

  • @Kam, to add into Indicine’s response, Baaghi isn’t even a complete mindless masala film. I have seen worse masala films starring some of the top superstars in Bollywood. At least, Baaghi has some exceptional actions which require some effort to pull off.
