Baaghi has surpassed all expectations on Day 1 at the box office. The film has not only managed to beat Akshay Kumar’s Airlift, but has also matched the business of Shah Rukh Khan’s FAN in quite a few mass circuits.
The opening is phenomenal when you consider the fact that the film did not have a chartbuster song and Baaghi was Tiger Shroff’s second film after ‘Heropanti’. For the kind of opening that Baaghi has managed at mass centres on Day 1, films usually require the presence of an established star or chartbuster music. Baaghi had none, which is why the opening has surprised the trade.
Shraddha Kapoor’s presence might have helped the film at smaller centres, because her last few films like ‘Aashiqui 2’, ‘Ek Villain’ and ‘ABCD 2’ have performed well.
Films like Baaghi usually show a drop of around 10% in business on Saturday. But there is tremendous potential for growth at multiplexes in cities, where the occupancy was low on Friday. If business at big cities picks up on Saturday, Baaghi could show some growth, which would mean a very healthy weekend total for the film.
The Sabbir Khan directed film is now looking at weekend business of 35-40 crore, depending on how well it holds up on Saturday.
The industry has a new star in Tiger Shroff. Both his films (Heropanti and Baaghi) have opened well and the actor has also managed to carve a niche for himself in the industry. Among the younger generation of stars, very few can pull off action the way Tiger can and this will be his USP in the years to come.

From the very beginning, I have bluntly criticized and exposed the superstars including their chameleon fans. But I’m quite surprised to see that few users still use the words like “best SRKian” , “Good SRKian” etc for me, when I am not that sort of guy. And in reality, I don’t want all these tags but I am happy being a baddie and retard. Because these tags come with a responsibility. May be, to get such appreciations from other users quite often, I will start thinking about other fanbases and their feelings. May be, I will start worrying about likes and dislikes on my comments and thus, I will draft my comments accordingly.
But I don’t want to get into all such things. I just want to put across my thoughts in such a way, that it should hit the SRK haters at the best possible place.
My only purpose is to bash the SRK haters and their respective superstars until I remain active on this website.
And ANK my friend, don’t underestimate yourself. It’s a treat reading your thoughts and balanced comments. Perhaps, that’s the reason, you have won the respect , not only of SRKians but other fanabases as well. I literally feel good when even SRK haters place your name in their good books.

I am poor at bashing and find difficult to vent out my anger on Akshay for some Sunny’s comment or on Salman for some Navin or Tigers comment. I can at times make some sarcastic comments but that is about it. Some of those people comments when I read make my blood boil too but I try reminding myself that it isnt Salman who has abused SRK but some of his stupid fan here which even Salman himself would not own and appreciate. But this sort of thinking also becomes a weekness when u have some ass….. kind of fans of other stars ridiculing SRK.
So more power to guys like u and Challa who can teach the SRK haters a lesson in their own language. U guys will have mine and other SRKians support always.
As far as my being called “sensible” by some persons is concerned it is simple that I praise their stars which makes them happy and they appreciate that. That is about it. So for many of them being sensible means praising their stars. I dont do that to please anyone as I genuinely like other stars too. I try to avoid talking negative things about the other stars. The day I start calling Salman a non-actor or mention true negative things and shortcomings of Amir, Hrithik, Ajay and Akshay u will see how much sensible they will find me.
So keep rocking !!!!!!! And also bring back Challa here on a full time basis !!!!!!!

FAN is not a flop. It made back all its money and more, and was one of the best films to come out of Bollywood.
